  If that's so, then that's two things he could learn. He originally had a link to the FTB download page. If a Technic forum user went to the FTB forums and pulled the same stuff in reverse I'd be extremely tempted ban his butt over here too for being a bag of dicks (dickbag). Jerks like that can stay out of our community.

I edited your post so you and your Feed The Beast fail-troll friends can learn some smooth dance moves to pick up chicks. Thank me later, and tell them gals at Minecon that I sent you.

Launcher bug/Tekkit Crash
SimpleGuy replied to shadowcreeper012's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
You should post a bug report in the correct section with more detail than you provided here. -
Slowpoke and the creator of forestry are two different people doing totally different things. If the FTB team wanted their pack put in the Technic/Tekkit launcher, I'm sure they'd contact Kaker or Cheap about it. However, only wild speculation remains beyond this point as to whether they have or would or wouldn't or should or could or whatever. Wild speculation and alcohol never goes well together, so I'm just going to lock this thread.

Closing this shitty thread. Pinking OP.
-
I wonder how many people here are listening to the music like me, or are just posting without listening?
-
OP clearly doesn't want to: which leaves much to the imagination. Clearly OP cares little or would say more than a single shitty sentence. So at this point no one can help unless the OP really wants to say more. Bringing up piracy would (assumedly) get him talking and quick, or just be playful banter in a shitty thread like this. In any case this whole thread started shitty by the OP. She/he can take the time to create a new one if needed.

Stop this shitposting.

You're so misguided you barely warrant this response. Fun fact: Tekkit has full permissions. Also redistributing the mods is piracy? What money are the modders losing out on by not having to pay out of their own pocket 2TB worth of bandwidth a day, free advertising on a webpage and launcher, a community to help people use their mods, and a donation page dedicated to all of them with direct donation links? I'm very certain any modder will tell you the whole permissions thing is not a money issue. Your post is so full of awful illogical slander you're not going to last long around here. Feel free to shape up your argument to be a real one.

Yeah wait til a Red hops on, for some reason I dunno how to de-invoke the ancient Kellerite ritual.

How many people have the admins banned
SimpleGuy replied to Sargent_Blockson's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Oh god time for me to pull dates and info... The forums launched back on January 18th, and I joined a couple days after on January 20th. KakerMix/CheapShot deemed me worthy to be a moderator on February 10th. For a long time it was just us three banning people left and right to get the community into the shape envisioned. Unfortunately, the stats before the forum switch are lost to me. However I can say that since June 3rd when the forums have switched there have been 24 pages worth of reports where each page has between 25 and 30 reports. Not all of these resulted in a ban and a lot of people were banned outside of reports for spam and other on-the-spot-sighted-dick-baggedness. Furthermore, things now are a lot more lenient than at the beginning of this year. I'd permaban many people daily back in February and March because the community was still raw and needed to be fleshed out. And back then people were more aggressive, making multiple accounts and trying to spam the forums with racial slurs and other lame things, and those were banned as well. Good luck figuring it out! -
This is not a launcher bug.

Looking for a private tekkit server. ~~
SimpleGuy replied to Dialiss's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
This thread is where you should have posted. It's for small, private servers not necessarily listed anywhere. And yes you still violate the spirit of the "Don't ask others to find you a server" rule, in that you're being lazy and asking others to PM you - even thanking them for their efforts. We purposefully don't cater to laziness. -
Of course it is. That's what I said....

If I recall correctly pressing F7 should disable the matmos sounds as well.

Cafe Lame: [General Minecraft Discussion] Pie thread at least started out relevant. This does not. Take the pie and cake crap to Off Topic, and stop flooding Cafe Lame with this. I closed it for a reason. EDIT: Guess I did all the hard work and moved it myself.

I didn't see Lord of The Rings mentioned yet, which makes me a sad upside down ubercharged blue engineer.

Codespeak: It boils down to the famous NullPointerException that arises when you try to figure out properties/states/methods of a null "object" (it isn't really an object - it's nothing!). Layman's terms: It boils down to when your client is trying to figure out a block/item's properties when such a block/item doesn't exist. Let's say you join a game without a mod that exists on the server, and the server tells your client: "Here's an item that's going to interact* with your player!". If your client searches through its list of items and blocks it knows and can't find it, it makes up a "nothing" thing and tries to use that. Well computers are totally useless at figuring out stuff from nothing, so it will just crash/burn and cry instead. *interact could mean render, explode, use, cause damage to, etc. Hence, the best way to cover your own ass is to assk** everyone who connects to your server to use the same mods. **originally a typo, keeping it there
