  1. I'd rather there be no API, as the number of two-bit modders with huge egos and crappy code will suddenly spike. Done wrong, it can also make certain mod ideas impossible.
  2. Graphic designers need more than one monitor, seeing a model from different angles constantly tends to be better.
  3. Moved to the correct place.
  4. Holy crap read stickies.
  5. I personally have a policy of "at least they turned themselves in" and delete the post. Of course, ironically, I can't delete the post now or no one would read this. Locking.
  6. A lot of us already use the #technic IRC Watchful11 mentioned.
  7. Meh, PAINS requires better grammar, defter insults, and more lengthy discourse. Good try though.
  8. You're very lucky you apologized before I could read this. I personally have a very low tolerance for people that join and skip reading the rules. Anyway, welcome! Enjoy your stay!
  9. It'd be a quad post if they all had the same timestamp. 6 hours is pushing it but at least it isn't "bump". Although "please help us" isn't the best either.
  10. I don't want to have to post this everywhere. Use common sense.
  11. Not sure what you're talking about, everyone else flipped theirs at the same time. Also I'm not sure why OP just doesn't spawn himself all this stuff creatively. I mean, it'd certainly save him a lot of time leaving the computer on.
  12. Mine with buttloads of turtles. Macerate ores, dump everything into condensor. Best way to generate EMC until you have a sea of collectors.
  13. I gave him 42 points, Jay? gave him 4. I'm pretty sure Asparagus wins.
  14. Post in the mega recruitment thread. That's why it is there.
  15. We have an entire section dedicated to servers.
  16. To completely interrupt the whole dubstep discussion, which was bound to happen, anyone else like Doom, Black and Melodic Death Metal? Doom: Ahab, Swallow the Sun, SunO))) (These guys are also droneish. Cookie if you can pronounce the song title), etc. Black: Belphegor, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, etc. Melodeath: Amon Amarth, Insomnium, Septic Flesh, Dethklok (lol), etc.
  17. Also thanks to those who report that kind of crap. I don't have the time to view every thread so stay vigilant!
  18. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/technic-pack-suggestions-ahoy.1053/ Seeing as the line between SMP and SSP is going to be brutally murdered at some point, put it there.
  19. Done. If a clone ever comes back, please kindly point him my way.
  20. To protect your gaming experience from another person's whimsical decision to spontaneously ruin it.
  21. Ew gross feelings.
  22. My taste in music shifts a lot, but Dream Theater has always consistently stayed on top as one of the most talented bands I know. Metropolis Pt. II: Scenes of a Memory in its entirety still blows me away. They are on a totally different level of songwriting. Still sad about Mike Portnoy leaving.
  23. I assume he is saying put two descriptive books in a crafting table to make a brand spanking new one? I haven't tried that recipe and I don't know if the previous books symbols would influence the newly crafted book.
  24. House music changes every year like the latest fashions, so what first got me into the entire electronica scene was actually trance (not surprisingly, called "house" at the time). Paul Van Dyk's Seven Ways: Honestly the entire album is an epic masterpiece that got me into trance at a young age, but hey I don't know if your taste originated with the recent dubstep movement, the growing hip-hop/dance fusion (things like Guetta), or some other means. Vaski (dubstep) is enjoyable to me: Then somewhere in between the House scene was flooded with more happy/upbeat hardstyle songs like Castle In the Sky:
