Just take out the folder called "Duckzzz.zip" in the server and it should work.

I didn't know that so I assumed the OP coulda had a legit troll IP or something. Feel free to change it back! -

If this is a troll attempt, they've earned the warning points for being so horrible at it anyway. -
Yeah unless it's something that directly affects us the way it is phrased just seems like it'll spawn drama we don't want. And in general, internet-lawyerings tends to be the shadiest of the greys and the finest of lines to bring up. Lockin' before someone inevitably makes a serious boo-boo.

I'll do the honors. Hudda Hudda Huh! Welp, it may be a hypocrisy. But thankfully unlike them we don't need to exploit their possible-screw-up to get the word out about Technic/Tekkit.

This thread is being repurposed to being about dat gaze dat dance dat ass. @DeviMaverick We don't care what they do honestly. Let them be riled up and fumed over internet lawyerisms. Let's not stoop to their level.

I very much enjoyed reading this, brushed me up a bit on my ODE knowledge. Thankfully, the natural world has so many shades of grey that I can't think of a case that violates this assumption off the top of my head. Glad to see the methodology if so, though. EDIT: I wonder, will your science be mainly theoretical or experimental? 'Cause let me tell you, error analysis of real-world data is so much fun...

[WIP] MageCraft (Version 0.1.0 Source Code available)
SimpleGuy replied to GreenWolf13's topic in Modders Metropolis
Greenwolf, you should really get a GitHub going to help provide some sort of version control history. It'll also make it easier for you to keep your code safe in case your tablet goes boom boom. It's relatively straightforward to learn, and once you get the eclipse plugin makes developing really smooth with a small learning curve. -
There is no war. If any of the members of our community scurry over there to be dicks they won't be members here for long.

Looking at the opposite direction, it's interesting to note that when FTB forums went live a solid handful of our more active members joined their site and have since become positive forces both here and there.

To play the devil's advocate... OK. So, what now? Time to buy all the milk and bread from the grocery stores? Time to run to the gun store and buy up all the ammo? Nothing has happened yet. This is an event that may or may not happen (like meteors crashing into the Technic hosting servers), but it is outside of the Technic team's realm of influence. Whatever happens in the big scary world happens whether it is big or small or just an average six inches. The Technic team will react as appropriate (read: when it happens. And maybe not even then.). They're not the type to get worked up over he-said she-said so I wouldn't count on the ceiling caving in here anytime soon. This is why drama will get people banned. Nothing has happened and a bunch of people get worked up over hypotheticals, like: What if CheapShot started talking about slowpoke shaving his beard What if SimpleGuy made a yo mama joke in a beard thread What if something bad happened to Technic where do we stash all the money What if I got laid tonight What if colors tasted like fruit What if yogs did their own thangy thang What if nothing happened I'm sad I had to spell this all out, Cheap's method is much more entertaining.

Time for me to inject some malicious code to put a stop to this. import trains.UglyTrain; public class Ugly { public Ugly() { UglyTrain chooChoo = new UglyTrain(); chooChoo.hit(this); } } public interface Fat { void pullIntoGravityWell(Object other); } public class YoMama extends Ugly implements Fat { //Ew } EDIT: forgot to include the import statements.

Censorship of unfounded rumors, slander, hearsay, and informationless babble that has no purpose other than to rile people up into a pitchfork mob over nothing.

Locking this thread, there isn't really anything to say besides "MOAR DRAMA" and the direction of this thread is just going to get a lot more people warned. We're the Technic/Tekkit forums. I like to imagine this is a more human corner of the internet without egos and karma points and fancy sigs and shit. We should hold ourselves to a higher standard above any other forum and not single people out as assholes unless they've already come here and done the hard work for us by proving it.

Whenever a nucleus of any element is formed/changed/broken the nuclear binding energy and nucleonic mass changes due to differing mass defects of different elements. It's just not on a scale humans can really appreciate.

I enjoy dancing to this style o' stuff the local DJ's throw down, but I'll pass on the whole psychedelic drug culture though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcP4mM4o_-0

Cleaned out some stuff on the front page. Feel free to not like the community. Just don't be passive aggressive jerks about it. Now, let's get this back on topic ladies and gentlemen.

So why do you feel unappreciated? Because the developers don't need to regurgitate every little thing they do and blog and tweet about the latest dump they took on the golden throne? Because they don't play with the playerbase? If they didn't give a shit about the playerbase, they wouldn't have even made the forums back in January and instead kept the shitty tumblr-like chain-comment system they had that consisted of their entire community. If they didn't give a shit about the playerbase, they wouldn't have even released Technic/Tekkit to the public and kept it a private thing between goons. If they didn't give a shit about the playerbase, they wouldn't pay for 2 TB bandwidth a day to keep you and your friends playing and not expect anything in return (Hint: 2 TB a month can be about $100. Not sure if the cost scales proportionally, but imagine paying $100 a day). The number of developers working on Technic/Tekkit is in the single digit range easily, and they have real-world jobs (you know, to earn money to pay for things. Things like, I don't know, hosting fees?), so it's no wonder they'd rather use their free time to work on Technic/Tekkit than talk with strangers about the work they could be doing instead. In short, they spend a large amount time behind the scenes working for your behalf. The fact you feel unappreciated is really offensive considering they're sacrificing a lot in the real world just so you can come here and be a whiny demanding brat about it. I'm not sure if it's the moderating style you're referring to, or the fact that the devs are too busy working for you for free to talk to you personally that you are complaining about. Either way, it's not like mods/admins are aloof of everyone else. You could just as easily hop into IRC and chat us all up. But no, instead you're here driving by in a Ferrari complaining that it isn't a Lamborghini. No it wouldn't in the self-entitled whiny demanding way you're going about it.

Soothsayers looking into the future with their crystal gaze upon the stars prophesying doom is nothing new around these parts. It's really not a surprise considering KakerMix & CheapShot like to keep their business private instead of whoring out their relationships between themselves and other developers in public with complete and total strangers allowed to watch... that's how interweb STD's could be passed! Anyway, I see some unfounded speculation and the poisonous "FTB vs Tekkit" mindset seeping in the OP. The two facts you bring up aren't worth getting all paranoid over: Slowpoke (contrary to KakerMix and CheapShot) does a lot of business publicly, and got banned for violating rules. At the end of the day we all want users to have more choices and more benefits from playing non-vanilla Minecraft. Wild speculation here: I'd imagine Voxelbox devs would appreciate this sentiment, and decide not to pull from either pack. Conspiracy! Doom!

I'm curious why so.
