I also managed to fix the redstone crash bug by doing 1 simple line of code. J0ach, some of the stuff you've posted here is known by 99% of tekkit server owners. I actually know a considerable amount of bugs there are not posted here that I can use to crash any tekkit classic server. I reccomend tunneling and doing some research. You also didn't bother to mension much on the computercraft disk drive crash. I could dupe hundreds of stacks of items in a couple of minutes without beating an eyelid. You need to do some research skid. And if I were you i'd stop using that subdomain. Get a premium domain and dedicated server No hate given. No hate attracted. Joseph.

Hi guys Recently I reinstalled the OS on my server to CentOS 6.6 With the distrobution kernel instead of the OVH kernel I know OVH throttle's there servers' processors through the kernel. But bloody hell! You have no idea how much of a difference this made. My servers lag, went down by 40%. I'm not even kidding. Just by installing the distrobution CentOS instead of the OVH CentOS, My servers MS went from 350(average, servers in canada im in the UK) down to 250, and the server is much more tolerant to worldedit etc. I'd say, as a tip to anyone whos using OVH install the distro kernel and NOT the ovh kernel Joseph

In my opinion, any server that isn't on a dedicated machine is crap. Thats IMO. By the looks of that IP it aint even a VPS.

Hey, thanks for reading this I'm having some issues with ores in thermal expansion, they aren't generating properly. Tin and Copper seem to be unfindable yet all the other ores generate just fine. Anyone help me with this? tin and copper generation is even enabled in config/cofh/ThermalExpansion.cfg Thanks Joseph

Waobob, depleted is not very good for servers at all, he can't even read a simple forge error. (I have worked with him) You're better looking for help on my side if it's a tekkit classic server, i've been tinkering with tekkit servers for 3-4 years now.

Like the SSD on the Linux VPS for example. I've never compared processors using GB/s or MB/s or any of that, i've always used the MHz/GHz.

Interesting plowmanplow. I'll go ahead and security test running under root now. disconsented, I'm not 100% if the MHz myth applies to processors? And adding more ram does increase system performance, I didn't say it doesnt, but considering a minecraft server can be run merely off swap from an SSD VPS kinda says it all. EDIT: I misunderstood disconsented, Adding more ram doesn't speed up the computer if there wasnt enough ram previously. Sorry disconsented.
