This is a wide spread problem with ALL java 7. I don't know the technical details, but not updating to the latest is silly. We can't tell users to keep to old shit.

That error log tells me nothing. Uninstall Kaspersky then, there are better AV's like Avast! or MSE which wont give any problems to the launcher.

If you have a 64 OS then uninstall your java, it prevents you from using more then 1Gig of memory to the launcher, and install the java 7 upgrade 51 with 64 bits - this is only relevant if your pc has more RAM. Anything between 1-2gig is fine, try not to give everything since that will make your computer cry for not having any working memory for itself. And yeah I can't do anything if you just pick two random lines from the log, those lines happen often, they shouldn't cause any problems. Try mediafire or try copying half of the log A new log is made every new day you log to the launcher, so please don't copy today's log if the only thing you did was open the launcher and close it, that wont help me find when the error occurred.

Before you open the launcher, right-click it and choose "Run as admin". If the modpacks are still offline, close the launcher and try again. If this doesn't work after 2-3 times, delete the .technic folder in %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic Remember to backup any saves in any modpack you may have! Now try right-clicking the launcher and choose Run as admin again. If that wont work then please do me a favour and choose one modpack from the Platform and try downloading it. Stop talking nonsense and make your own bug thread so we can find the issue. The launcher does not magically block you from playing, it's something on your computer doing it.

If you typed your ingame name and it says you havent donated or your ingame name is not mentioned as a donator you can fill the form that should be shown there. I can't screenshot it because it gives me the green light and modpack ready!

That probably means your RAM doesn't have any more to give. Check your computer for its properties, if it states that your RAM only has 2gig then you better lower what you give to the launcher. If you give all working memory to a game the computer has nothing for itself to work on.

The error log is saying nothing. And it is definitly Kaspersky's fault, disabling it should fix the problem

Would be good if you could tell how you fixed it, so others who have the same problem can copy your moves.

You claim you have the latest java 7, yet your error log says it is using java 6 Uninstall that old java Uninstall AVG, it is a horrible AV anyway.

Treeit = Tekkit? I hope you mean Tekkit, there is no Treeit modpack as far as I've noticed. And have you tried using your middle scrolling wheel on your mouse?
