    You have JAVA 8 installed.
    Delete that and install JAVA 7.

    1. I hope this is not from the server as this contains Optifine o.O (if it does - remove it quick)
    2. Remove Thermal Expansion and COFHCore and add this and this versions.
    3. Navigate to config->CoFH and remove all files from the directory.
    4. Launch and post the effects.

    I've got it to work.
     
    I like it. It's a really nice little magic modpack.
     
    I can see only a few minor problems:
     
    - a bit outdated NEI Plugins unofficial (for the time of creating the pack)
    - FPS speed mod by default in a pack...  that's always bad (you've got a lot magic mods with particles and this can screw it up)
    - FPS speed mod + TiCon in one pack = no TiCon support
    - there were some problems with Thaumcraft biomes with the newest Forge (check if this applies to your pack)
     
     
    I cannot make the pack to generate FML logs... Strange.

    Firewall settings are not enough, he also needs port forwarding. Luckily, these are all handled together in Speedport devices.
     
    I can imagine what is happening. The computer that runs Minecraft has a firewall exception and port forward on the router, but only when connected via wireless. The router treats every network-connected device as a separate computer, even if it's just a different network adapter on the same one. Thus, you need to create another port forward rule for the "other computer", namely your wired ethernet adapter connected via the powerline thing.
     
    If the powerline plugs are more than just stupid cables and have their own MAC adresses, it may be necessary to register those instead. But try with your wired ethernet device first.
     
    And by the way: This all should only be necessary if you're running a server, or open your local game to LAN and want WAN users to join. For a simple client connecting to WAN servers, no configuration should be necessary. Just pointing it out for others who read this.

    Wait, what? Aren't you a little outdated? RedPower 2 is for 1.4.6 and here we are in late 2014 when Forge for 1.8 is being written.
    ICBM was discontinued by Calclavia and opensourced by DarkCow. Last versions by Calclavia are for 1.6.4.
     
    There are many RedPower clones out there that might interest you.. BluePower, Project:Red and a lot of mods with frames (Framez, FunkyLocomotion, Redstone in Motion, Remain in Motion)
     
    Your best bet is to aim for a 1.6.4 pack with ICBM, CC, MFFS, BC, Mek and Project:Red (instead of RedPower).
    You can use Tekkit and add the last ICBM for 1.6.4 and the last 1.6.4 build of Mekanism (the others are already there). Make sure to fix any ID conflicts.

    I guess you know that 1.6.4 modpacks crash with java 1.8.0_20 and above.
     
    Maybe you don't need to edit the path at all. Download this and place it in the mods directory. Security concerns? Look here.

    You can check out here but those are experimental 1.7.10 versions and can crash on you. Remember to add OpenModsLib

    It's not your modpack at fault here. It's your OS and programs and drivers biting on each other.
    Can you uninstall Windows Live and check again?
