Use pastebin.com and paste your launcher logfile in to it.

Yes, GC is at https://micdoodle8.com/mods/galacticraft/downloads and Enderio is at https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/ender-io/files?filter-game-version=2020709689%3A4449 Fastcraft can be found at http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=10820&s=c849ef694290bf9ead8e9001804318036cb336dc Other mods on that may need updating as well.
-
Some of your mods, like EnderIO and Galacticraft are quite old (Enderio 381 is about 1.5yrs old). Update old mods, and add Fastcraft. Also, how much RAM are you allocating in your start.bat?
-
pastebin a log
-
Your antivirus / firewall is blocking it, either disable or add exceptions. also, attachments don't work, in the future use pastebin.
-
How much ram does your pc have? You are trying to allocate 3GB, do you have that much? [B#347] Error occurred during initialization of VM [B#347] Could not reserve enough space for object heap

Your problem is not the same. You should start your own thread.

try java -Xmx2024M -Xms2024M -jar modpack.jar this will give 2GB to your server.

yes, put the forge universal in there, renamed as I noted Actually, that's just for client packs. Server packs should have the forge universal at the root, and have a start.bat that calls it with arguments to set memory.

did you rename the forge universal in your server's clientpack /bin folder to modpack.jar? (If Windows is hiding file extensions, either unhide them or just name it modpack)

Its actually a .rar file. Rezip is as a .zip file and re-upload to dropbox.

If you are running it on a computer at home, then yes, you need to portforward TCP or both TCP/UDP to whatever the internal LAN IP of your server, at whatever port you chose (25565 is the default). If your server computer has a firewall, add exceptions for that port too in your computer's firewall software.

Logistics of editing a modpack and using Local Area Network
AetherPirate replied to CookieMan2's topic in Cafe Lame
That modpack is for Minecraft version 1.6.4. Galacticraft 3.x is for modpacks that run 1.7.10. You'd need to update all the mods in the pack to 1.7.10 (forge too). If you really want GC 3.x, you'd be better off picking a 1.7.10 pack that already has it, or making one yourself. I don't think your world would survive a migration from a 1.6.4 pack to a 1.7.10 pack. -

In order to get your logs, please go into the Launcher Options (upper-right corner), then on the bottom-left corner of that screen, click "Open Logs". Paste the contents of that log into pastebin.com, create a paste, and post the link to that paste here.

You need 64 bit Java, and you need to allocate 2-3GB to the launcher, by clicking the cog wheel in the top right. pastebin a log if you still have trouble.

Server can't start after server crash
AetherPirate replied to Mr Limee's question in Technic Launcher
backup your world and try this: in your /world folder there is another folder called HardCore Questing, remove it and relaunch. you will lose your quest progress, but see if it works. I think there are hqm commands to set quests as completed. -

Atomic Science is buggy and afaik, development has ceased, but it will give you dangerous waste and risk of explosions. Big Reactors are quite safe, they make waste but it is harmless, and can be reprocessed into fuel. I personally prefer Big Reactors, its complex enough to be fun and works relatively bug-free. If you really like complicated, dangerous reactors, try a pack that has Reika's ReactorCraft.
