How do you make signs or pics with custom images on them? I want to label machines with pictures (pic of steel ingot on a redstone furnace) I've seen it around, can't quite find the right term to google for it.

Can't get mine to change direction, they mostly point sideways. Wrenching doesn't do anything. My goal is to have a bunch up high, shining down. I've made holes in the ceiling for them, but they won't face downwards. They will face upwards if placed on the floor. Anyone mess with these? ---hmm... had to place blocks above it, and fly DIRECTLY underneath the hole. Then it worked.

Logmein hamachi is worth a try.

Try connecting without specifying the port number.

Are you absolutely sure about that port number? Stop / restart the server too.

Some routers let you bypass all of their firewall settings with it. Risky, but worth a try. What kind of router do you have?

On the router, try putting the local server IP in the DMZ.

You may have to allow it through your windows firewall. Turn it off and see if your game connects. If so, you know you need to create some firewall exceptions.

It is forwarded for both TCP and UDP? Is your PC's firewall set to allow that port?

Look up all the various dynamos. Steam, magmatic, bio generators, compression, there are others too. The Big Reactor mod adds nuclear power, you can make a small reactor fairly early on in the game. The quarry does not make power, it uses power to mine and give you ores..

Once the quarries start going, storage becomes a crisis. I use Deep Storage Units (DSU) to store the stuff I have stacks and stacks of. A nullifier can help dispose of the garbage. The larger chests (iron, silver, gold if you can) can help too. You can make item ducts and servos to make stuff go where you want. But I often still have random chests full of crap. Other than that I race towards an AE system. With enough drives you don't need to sort.

Whoops, using mobile today. Thought I put it there. It's a moot point. I spawned in a other tesseract and it worked fine. Maybe my ender pearl crop had weevils.

Manually updated Big Reactors to latest version. I can open the tesseract GUI, but hitting the Configuration Tab causes instant "Server Shutdown" I am playing on a Single Player world, in survival. Have played for a couple months, this is a new problem for me. This happens if the tesseract is sitting by itself, or on top of a quarry. It happens every time.
