  1. Twenty-first, RedPower logic gates can be placed not only on walls, but on the ceiling as well. Twenty-second, IC2 power storage blocks, (BatBox, MFE, MFSU) eat redstone and turn it into 500 EU per piece. Twenty-third, RedPower pumps don't work like BuildCraft pumps, and they can't pump into "liquid inventories" like geothermal generators or BC tanks. Twenty-fourth, a ComputerCraft turtle does a quarry's job better, and it's made with 8 stone, a glass pane, 7 iron, and a chest. Twenty-fifth, most servers disable EE, so learn to live without it. Twenty-sixth, nuclear reactors can be disabled with a redstone signal. Twenty-seventh, RailCraft overrides the recipes for even vanilla rails. Sad face über trolls are still way, way better than those silly, old-fashioned super trolls.
  2. Sixteenth, InvTweaks is a completely separate mod. Seventeenth, InvTweaks provides an inventory sort (middle click). Eighteenth, that sorting works on chests, and has several different sorting modes. Nineteenth, your achievements *will* reset periodically, it's a Forge bug. Twentieth, über trolls are so much better than super trolls. :mmmsmug:
  3. Tenth, unless you're an admin on the server. Eleventh, you should disable mob spawners in the NEI sunsets config. totally winning the internets here.
  4. Seventh, that option is disabled in the config, so you'll have to change that. Eighth, (to the OP) try spelling. I hear it works.
  5. Fifth, that's NEI, and it's hidden by default. To show it, press the "o" key.
  6. JohnSmith Technician's Remix. And yup, we've got a thread. I advise you to try it out! I hope someday it will replace Sphax as the go-to pack for Tekkit.
  7. unless your server admin has removed Ender Chests. :(
  8. Actually, Zic, he did, but it was buggy and didn't recognise metadata, so I deleted it. It also looked pretty bad.
  9. One thermopile won't power crap. Try using multiple; I find 4 to be a decent number.
  10. Um, which mobs would you want to see done? I'm personally fine with them the way they are, but if y'all aren't, I'll work on it.
  11. Yeah, your pc would run a vanilla server just fine. Good luck administrating, and may I suggest the removal of Buildcraft? Everything it does is done even better by other mods.
  12. You could probably join the server I play on, it's small, and I'm on skype, as is the server owner. We've (of course) already started, but if you like, you could totally record episodes. There is a mandatory uber-highly recommended texture pack on our server: JohnSmith Technician's Remix. My computer can't really handle recording, though I will stream occasionally. PM me if interested. I'm 16, very mature, and I speak English fluently. I could potentially play 2-3 hours a day, sometimes more.
  13. Sphax is overhyped, and also childish. Have you tried something classier and less comic-book? Say, *shameless plug* JohnSmith Technician's Remix */shameless plug* ? Trust me, it's awesome.
  14. something my pack doesn't have on its side.
  15. Strange, I'll try reuploading. 12w42b: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0Bwob3EQvVt4Ua195UlFJUC1GaGs
  16. And it should work now. Try again, Luminous. *glances furtively* What stolen naming scheme?
  17. Rename to .ZIP? I'll check it on my end
  18. We have EE enabled on our server, but we don't use it to generate resources. (well, most of us don't, anyway)
  19. Fridays it is. JSTR 12w42 is coming up! Link to 12w42: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0Bwob3EQvVt4UY01aTmktZlB0UWs
  20. OK then, I suppose. That's where I'd always hooked my bluewire up.
  21. it might. I generally don't use jacketed wire much. I certainly know you shouldn't conect your wires on the front or the back. Not sure about bottom and top, but I don't se why not
  22. I didn't know. I now hate Comcast's guts slightly less. :P
  23. Jacketed wire? Jacketed will most likely not connect without putting a blue alloy wire underneath it.

    EMC Pipes

I really like the "you can only move it once" argument. Maybe have something that "stabilises" it, and uses some of the EMC up in the process? Not too much of it, but enough to make you think twice about exploiting the system? And then you could have it like vanilla redstone, where the power only travels x amount of blocks, and you need one of these every so often, but it takes up EMC in the process?
