  1. I've not, sorry about that. Tomorrow. I'm tired, I'm going to get some sleep. Tomorrow, I'll post 0.7.6 and then I can get on with CC and stuff.
  2. I suppose. The new system is even more awesome!
  3. I never said they were useless, I said they were badly implemented. Personally, solars are ok, but reactors are the best. None of this SUC crap by the way, as that's going by the wayside in the new IC2 anyway. Good ol' reactors.
  4. They would be excellent in a flat world. Any blocks within a certain radius and they are less effective. (yes, this includes the cables to get the power from them)
  5. And never use wind generators. They are terribly implemented and just don't work.
  6. From the panels to any side on an energy storage block that doesn't have the dot. The dot side is the output, which you wire to the machines. Be warned: MFE outputs MV, and MFSU outputs HV. This means to hook an MFE to basic machines you'll need an LV Transformer or Transformer Upgrades, and to use an MFSU, an MV Transformer then an LV Transformer, or 2 Transformer Upgrades per machine.
  7. Basic machines should be fine with 3 solar panels and a BatBox, as long as they're not in constant use. In my current world, and this is the setup I recommend you work towards, I have the Advanced Machines equivalents to the basic machines, and the power comes from 9 LV Solar Arrays. Also, when it rains, I turn on my basic 30 EU/t nuclear reactor. Power is stored in 3 MFSUs and an electrolyser. For "renewable" options, if you're not against EE, you could use an Energy Condenser to create Charcoal to burn in your generator. If you are, use a tree farm. Charcoal is renewable, and you can just pipe it in with RP tubes or BC pipes.
  8. ^this. I'm personally the one who can install the mods manually, but that doesn't mean I look down on those that can't. Isn't that, after all, the spirit of Technic? To make it easy and simple for those who don't have a clue?
  9. Isn't the injector an item? Oh yeah, MFFS 1. Please Technic crew, update to Thunderdark's MFFS2! It's better in almost every way, and it doesn't look like crap either! :/
  10. Also, MFFS requires its own power. You'll need an MFFS Generator Core and an MFFS EU Injector.
  11. Bit ambitious, Adler? Also, Flipside, I did fix that, and am actively working on the other IC2 bugs, (the floating pixels) ATTENTION: A list of the affected IC2 items would go a long way towards better quality. EDIT: Changed Wall of Bug Tester Fame from to except for me. I still have my smug face. :mmmsmug:
  12. Personally, I avoid dubstep like the plague, not because it's bad in theory, but because 99% of people that do it, do it wrong. Good trance, though, I can recommend in droves. Cosmic Gate's Exploration of Space, Hans Zimmer's Time(Audible Bootleg), etc. EDIT: Also, deadmau5 is pretty good, and he's spanned genres from trance to chill to borderline dubstep.
  13. Yeah. Faithful was ok, but then I realised, if I'm going to use default textures, why not use default textures, you know?
  14. I saw. I'll be working on them, and in the meantime, Smiley on the WoBTF for you! :D
  15. A dokucrafter? Shun! JK, I actually hear the Dokucraft guy has a pre-release out. And if DokuCraft is your thing, I suggest you try it. There's no competition, (not really) just a classy texture pack, and an overly ornate texture pack. :)
  16. I'm a ruby man, myself. I prefer my sword to be tainted with the blood of my enemies.
  17. Updated OP with JSTR version 0.7.5! Now with *real* IC2 and Buildcraft, not just recoloured Faithful! Also, RP, BC, and IC are integrated now, (texture-wise, anyways) and RP tools! Try it out, and tell us what you think! Also, welcome Glowstrontium to the team! :)
  18. Yes. He has the proper launcher version. His launcher, the right one, won't download an older Technic build. It's the launcher, or Java.
  19. I did the GUIs too. Oh well, yours are better anyway. I may steal the marble and basalt bricks though. I didn't get them quite right. IC2 has also been redone, and I'm redoing (read: doing) BuildCraft. Then, on to the EE GUIs and such. Also, if you did *all* the logic, that's amazing. It's the part I was dreading, thank you so much.
  20. Overengineered! I love it! After all, that's what Tekkit is all about. :)
  21. The second receiver on the right could be done with redwire, but wow! This is a well thought out idea, and I'm impressed!
  22. Sounds legit to me. Although, running Technic in demo mode for those who haven't bought Minecraft would be fairly cool. It could help people get hooked and then buy it.
  23. I wouldn't get rid of it if I were you. In your inventory screen, there should be a small button in the upper right where you can learn about all of InvTweaks's awesome features.
  24. That's InvTweaks, and to count out 10, you can scroll your scroll wheel up 10 times while hovering over a stack. EDIT: It also provides numerous other useful features, like inventory sort and the "dump all" button. (useful after mining trips, just dump it all into your sorting system)
