Ok, let's troubleshoot this. What ID does the block have? Which Technic version are you using? How did you previously install the patch? (be specific, Bob) Are there any error messages? EDIT: Which version of Java are you using? Are you on a Mac, or a PC, or are you using Linux? EDIT2: Have you tried re-inserting it into modpack.jar, not using the default Mac program, but using an alternative program? -

Then I can't help. Literally everyone else that has had the 2d mod blocks problem with an HD texture pack, has had their problem fixed by this patch. Just drop it into modpack.jar. -

Nope, but there's a fix for it in my thread. JohnSmith Technicians Remix. It's an Optifine bug, but it's permanent, and is fixable with a patch. My thread (fix at bottom of post) -
Honestly? It'll give me something to do. But I have to have the textures in place first. After 1.0? Maybe then I can add shiny eyecandy like that. Until then, I am focussing on getting it done. Once it's playable without major headaches or out of place things, I'll call it 1.0 and start work on really stepping it up. Animated machines, gritty toughness, and who knows, maybe even rebranding some mods. BlueShower, anyone?

DW's SMP series is *amazing*. Playing with betas of the mods, with the actual mod devs, i mean, how much cooler could a lets play get? Really?

*nixes are great, aren't they? Hopefully, the changes in 1.4 won't be brutal. I, personally, believe they won't include the mod api in this one either. They'll say "Whoops, sorry, not ready yet. Wait for 1.5!" -
I think the stupid part is the whole flame war. should we hate on the so-called "bronies"? no. Should they attempt to turn the internets into "Super-Pony-Land!!!1!"? no. So, i mean, they stay on their side of the line, I put away the weapons.

@Kinglightson: Yes, I do watch Monkeyfarm. The reason I use his terrain file here is the coloured planks. he does them well. @Everyone: I'm aware that you guys have been waiting almost forever for an update, and I'd ask you to wait a while longer. As Adler said, school. I'll be able to work on the pack again starting Sept 5, and hopefully have the BC3 update out on Sept 7 at the latest. Thanks for your support, and happy Minecrafting! :)

Armored Core is too "giant people" and not enough "walking tanks". MW4 is free now, and MechWarrior: Living Legends is a free mod (if you own Crysis Warhead) with amazing graphics and more than just 'Mechs. Tanks, Aerospace, infantry, everything. MWO is supposedly coming out this summer, but the devs' lips are sealed. :/

MWO is the same way. I have other things I'd love to do. There's even a Mechwarrior game I really enjoy currently out. MWO has no advertising, no reporting aside from the occasional IGN piece, and thanks to their NDA, almost no gameplay footage, and they expect me to be all excited. I was, about a year ago, and if they hadn't put the NDA in place, I'd still be excited, but now I've pretty much moved on to greener pastures. edit: for those of you that aren't telepathically reading my mind, MWO= MechWarrior Online.

I've already got a co-author, but I do take submissions for textures into consideration. However, I am quite stuck in the mud about my glowstone texture. I love it, and it looks good in EE collectors. Up next is the BuildCraft blocks. (and possibly EE rings and items ) Edit: FlipSide, do you mean the engines core? I made it the way it is to make it look more mechanical and less magic. I'm not a fan of magic blocks in techmods (the reason I don't like BuildCraft). Double Edit: Don't mean to sound like a jerk, or an asshole or anything, but I'm really doing this for me. I'm releasing it for others to enjoy too, but I'm making a pack I can look at and say, "Wow, that looks beautiful." I did some of the things like engines and glowstone to my own tastes, and because that makes them look better when combined with other items. This is where the asshole part comes in: if you don't like the pack, you can certainly change it. (if I like your version, I'll even include a link to yours in the OP) But I won't, unless it's something that strikes me *personally* as being off.
