Impossible. Mod support isn't even in yet and we have mods now. The fuck are you thinking of?
-
You'd have to write a custom renderer for that, and not even Risugami has that working with many mod items.

This is true. I had avoided it because it looked like a silly gimmick and didn't even try it. The word I use now is flabbergasted. Sometimes I don't even look down when I do it, just vaguely moving my finger in the general vicinities of the letters and it still works. No matter that I'm late the party: It's still freaking wicked. Now you won't see me making weird typoes from missing the letters, either. :P

I've been using tap-typing since I got the thing back in November, and I can testify this was never the case anyway. I have firsthand experience that you have to have a -very- short attention span to ever "be in a hurry" enough that abbreviating your words becomes at all important.

The important argument to me is that gun control increases the chances a hothead will be using fists instead of a gun. Preemptive damage control, really. Gun control is more relevant when not discussing criminals.

Try to convince KakerMix to show you his seaside mansion with private tram into the city. Because really, anybody who runs this place must be bloody loaded. For the rest of you, let me point out the fact that there is a song called "American Idiot"...written by Americans. So let's not have any of this nonsense about overgeneralization and stereotyping when it's really just accurate truth.

I just discovered the glorious-and-spooky joy that is Swype on my Android phone. Not only is it near to perfect even on a moving bus, not to mention that my fat finger makes it difficult to see the keys, but it even improves usability of this site for me because it includes arrow keys and Firefox does not get along well with this new software. I feel like somebody just handed me the keys to the city. It even handles punctuation and smilies! Man, Google rocks my socks.

One can always hope, but never underestimate stupidity. In theory, though, that should solve that particular irritation.

Buildcraft is open-source, so all you have to do is get the source for the version you want to patch, make the changes yourself, recompile, and then distribute only those .class files that you altered. People could use your changes by putting those modified .class files into the appropriate Buildcraft .jar file(s). Something like that would never be accepted into mainstream Technic, though, due to lack of maintainability, so you'd have to support it in patch form indefinitely.

I'm the uncle Fester of this board.

Different personalities have different degrees of impact on different people. It may very well be that as many people think of you as the heart of the site, as think of you as nobody at all. Just luck of the draw, really.

You know how people put bumper stickers on their cars when they go on long road trips, showing off the areas they've been to? I decided to do the same thing for the games I play, on my frontroom wall, in a nice nerdy hexagonal tiling. Here's the ones I've done so far (probably about 1/4 done with the games I've already played, considering I have a backlog from when I was a little kid ), obviously downscaled. (They look much better not crammed into one animated GIF at 20% the size, as the originals are 600dpi.) Images retrieved using Good-Old Google. Just thought I'd share. Maybe someone else will be inspired and do it too! It's very easy to do in GIMP with masks and Screen/Multiply opacity.

Well, since I'm not on his mailing list, this -is- asking him, if such a thing wasn't already extant and known. It's not a secret; I just want it because it's cute.

Not that I can see. For example, this image -- http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/new-things.16001/ -- which looks like it was drawn specifically for that thread. I could just go to every major thread on the forum and get images that way, but that would get only the current ones, and there wouldn't be any convenient way to keep abreast of new images in the future.

I have a specific need for a compilation of Cheapshot's little drawings from around the Technic site past and present (like the Technic/Tekkit logos), all of the funny creeper pieces. Ideally something like an imgur or deviantart gallery.

What a selfish request. "take them from ee2, not gonna need it on my server later" as if someone would actually want to go through the trouble of doing something like this just for -your- server.
-
Why in the fuck did you triple-post in a two-month-old thread? Especially when your contribution is known amongst our little community in such a widespread manner that it falls under the heading of "no shit, sherlock".

For some reason, I see your name, and I hear "scoot" said in Squirtle's voice. Just thought I'd mention that.

I think he's under the impression that whatever he happens to see or notice is the sum total of all events in the universe. Maybe he doesn't realize that the planet keeps spinning even while he's not paying attention to it.
-
"Suddenly"? You must not have been paying attention, because he's been admin for a long while. Jay?'s activity is none of your fucking business. The other two questions are acceptable, I suppose.
-
No, if you sre drcompiling with forge, you use the cloent version and decompile it too. The source version with instsller is for original development only.

A new Idea for the Technic team! Technic team please read!!

I'm rather late to the party, here, but I felt the need to clarify this anyway. The word you are looking for is "inethical" (or "unethical" if you prefer): It is not immoral in the slightest, and it is illegal only in certain specific ways (of which the original suggestion is not one). -
Kaker for President, 2016.

Oh look, more demonstration of why software patents are a malignant cancer on this planet. Thank god I will never have children, because it would be a violation of human right to subject them to the shithole our world has become.

I got errors like that when I was trying to use arrays in templates. Basically, in Java, you can't dynamically allocate objects of a wildcard type in a template function.
