This game would be in my top 10 games of all time if it hadn't been abandoned post-launch and left to rot with major bugs unfixed. Primarily, the one that bothers me the most and sapped a great deal of enjoyment out of the game for me, is the fact that it is very easy to bug your way into it being actually impossible to reach 100% completion. (Keeping in mind that this is a game deliberately designed to prominently track and display your completion percentage, unlocking missions and giving you rewards based on your completion, as well as mini-story elements. It wouldn't be anywhere near as bothersome if it were some minor statistic somewhere in a menu, but where EVERY FUCKING UI ELEMENT basically screams "Get to 100%" at you, and then the company that made it couldn't be assed to make that actually possible in the majority of cases? That chafes me raw.) The only games of its type that even come close to being as good, in my opinion, are Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (which I've played) and Saint's Row: The Third (which I've not played, but will the next time it comes on pack deal on Steam after they finish releasing DLC for it). All-in-all, this is one of the few times I agreed with Yahtzee's comedic routine about a game, the only real irritant (besides the aforementioned bug) being the clunkiness of the in-game purchasing.

There's something better than dong?

You create a new account to resurrect a two-week-old thread for a joke?

Why would music discs use entity IDs? (I haven't looked at the code.) If you mean item IDs, there is no shortage of those.

Maybe I should play 7 someday. Meh. Only way would be to pirate since I refuse to pay hundreds for a scratched-up PS1 game when I spend 5-20 per on Steam.

The length is not checked by the game. All you have to do is replace the tracks in the resources folder with ones in the same codec and wrapper.

Playing PS2 FF games on pcsx2 with supersampling is glorious. FF XII looks like a PS3 game that way. And yes I own the damn games.

I don't see why, considering people don't use it for the purpose stated in the very first post. I vote we change this board's name to "buttered biscuits" so people don't just see the word "request" and come drool all over it with no further thought.

You should have said less, because this is the wrong forum.

Who are "they", why do we give a damn about "them", and what are you smoking? This may be the longest idea-posting I've ever seen on this forum, and anyone undertaking this mod would devote the next half a year of their life to it, so you're going to need to find a local vendor of chill pills and have some.

Go mention this mod in a forum that cares. This forum is for -creating- mods.

You have to realize that the regeneration of water blocks is not instantaneous. First, the block is removed, then the flow is recalculated for other nearby blocks, then a temporary flowing block is placed in the empty spot, then the temporary flowing block detects the right conditions and turns itself into a source block. This all happens over a series of ticks, during which the pump is still pumping, so depending on the order in which things happen, sometimes it will work fine and sometimes it won't. A bigger pool makes it less likely the entire thing can be accidentally pumped out, and slower pumping gives each block more of a chance to regenerate. Try setting up your pump with 2-3 redstone engines. That should be slow enough. Pumps need dick-all for power.
-
Drain water more slowly? Use weaker engines or put fewer engines on the pump. Or just make a bigger pool.

One technique I've always thought to try is just making a meta-container (like the Forestry bags) that hold the wrenches or paint items virtually and just forward right-clicks to them. I must ponder.

It's likely a balancing factor, how cheap it is to make cells versus buckets, and also how convenient. You trade the cheap manufacture and versatility for non-reusability. I personally think it has a rather good value, for when you've progressed a world to the point that you're not actually short on materials, because not having to deal with empty buckets is yet another point in cells' favor. Until you get to the point that you're literally farting tin dust, cells are of limited use, but still alright in my opinion. Best for producing obsidian early. I am all in favor of player choice, of course, so I endorse this request even if I wouldn't use it. It would not necessarily be difficult to code this, but a third-party implementing it involves decompilation/recompilation, distribution and maintenance of patch files, and a whole lot of hassle, so I wouldn't expect it to ever happen other than if it were changed in IC itself.

All mine are animal typoes. So far I've used pieridine, lupine, delphine, corvine, musteline, and serpentine.

I call my tiny wizard "Pieridine".

Yes, this fellow is just enough fucked in the head to fit in well, here.

[REQUEST] Nice looking HD texture pack that has built in tekkit support.

But why do you think we care about your 16x pack in a thread about HD packs?
