It's attempting to download 3 files that are required for the launcher. Those files are around 26 MB total. Check if your Antivirus actually allows those downloads.
-
Who would've thought that not downloading NEI from curseforge could backfire so specteculary?
-
That's the wrong log I suppose. No modpacks downloaded nor tried that day.
-
It says more than the file version.json not found. Looks like you are missing dependencies. Go check which dependencies are needed.
-
Okay. In that case, your logs please. Use https://paste.ubuntu.com/ to upload the log. You can find the log by pressing Launcher Options -> Open Logs. Upload the one from the day you tried.

Sigh. "any modpacks" State which modpack you tried.

Need help with playing my nostalgic modpack
JaariAtmc replied to Jurgen773's topic in Platform Pagoda
What happens if you just get to the part with the specific version for 1.6.4? And launch that? -
So, when are you going to actually include your modpack's name so we can check?

Need help with playing my nostalgic modpack
JaariAtmc replied to Jurgen773's topic in Platform Pagoda
You download vanilla on the Technic Launcher. You then press Modpack Options -> A specific version -> 1.6.4. After that, you copy over all those files and you do choose to overwrite. Try playing after that. -
Sigh. Which modpacks?
-
Try using Java8u221 or u211 instead.

Need help with playing my nostalgic modpack
JaariAtmc replied to Jurgen773's topic in Platform Pagoda
You still have the original download? Make a copy of it. Then: Download vanilla minecraft for 1.7.10. Move all Archcraft folders over to the vanilla "modpack" folder. You now should be able to play again. -
Updates take an hour to register if you don't increase the modpack version.

You appear to be having an issue with an unsupported Intel Graphics device and Windows 10. This issue is common for older computers and Windows 10. We recommend, if it's a desktop, to get a dedicated graphics, as it is always a better option, anyways. However, there is a fix. Please press WindowsKey + X and click on "Apps and Features" and uninstall all copies of Java. After that, install Java 8 from this link: http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=98428 Start up the launcher and try again.

So, its a modpack, not a launcher. Like, what modpack?
-
Please include your log. Use ubuntu pastebin for it.
-
Started up to main menu just fine for me.
-
Like, you run the modpack once, it generates a config folder. You edit the config files that need to be edited, you save them. You now just include the config folder in the modpack.zip.
-
They're text files. You know how to save a text document, right?
-
No. Forge 1.13/1.14 will not work on TechnicLauncher due to the whole installation process of Forge being changed, breaking everything that worked between Minecraft 1.2-ish and minecraft 1.12.2. It currently only works for Vanilla minecraft (and Twitch Launcher since they package the vanilla launcher).

Forge not loading for a 1.12.2 mod pack
JaariAtmc replied to ElvenSorcererKing's topic in Platform Pagoda
When I checked your modpack, the bin folder had a forge jar that was its original name. you really need to change that to just "modpack". -
Modpack only opens Vanilla Minecraft
JaariAtmc replied to The Real Bishflop's topic in Platform Pagoda
That's because Technic Launcher does not support modded 1.13/1.14. -
Forge not loading for a 1.12.2 mod pack
JaariAtmc replied to ElvenSorcererKing's topic in Platform Pagoda
So, have you renamed the forge jar to modpack? Like literally, renamed it to "modpack". Probably not. -
something about java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no net in java.library.path
JaariAtmc replied to AHandsomeChicken's question in Tekkit
The whole crashlog, thank you.
