A picture of the setup would be most helpful. Does it work if you put a panel right next to the batbox (no wiring)?

Searching is a good idea http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/server-not-starting-right.13058/#post-98063 http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/help-my-tekkit-server-wont-run-something-about-a-32-bit-on-a-64-bit-system.10137/#post-77723

Tekkit runs out of memory and crashes almost instantly on SMP server
Wendo replied to ELSockems's question in Tekkit Classic
Some things to try. You have a 64bit OS, why are you using 32bit Java? Install 64bit Java, it'll allow access to more memory, assuming your system has it. When you run the launcher, you can select how much memory to dedicate to the client by pressing the options button. If you don't have much free memory drop this to a value that you do have free (not total memory in your computer, how much you actually have free to use) -
Works for me as long as the refinery has oil in it. It's slow because you're only feeding LV to the energy link and refineries take a LOT of power, but it does work, I needed 4 panels minimum before it started to work, 8 was still slow. 2 LV (16 normal) panels got it to a useful speed How many solar panels are you using and in what setup (a picture would probably help us solve it). It may simply be you're not using enough panels to power the energy link, or your wiring is losing most of the power before it gets to the batbox

Using tekkit in Single player crashes every so often
Wendo replied to Jarrod328's question in Tekkit Classic
I don't think anyone really tests tekkit in single player, it's designed for SMP, if you want to play single player download Technic -
Problems with energy draw using energy link
Wendo replied to DXWarlock's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Put transformer(s) in so you're only feeding it low voltage, then it will take 74 EU/t constantly but that's better than what it'll chew through with HV. Energy links will pull power no matter what they are powering, even if it's nothing. If you want to turn them off use a splitter cable like you are, or use the redstone properties of an MFSU -
Better yet use redstone pipes, not buildcraft ones. Then it will never overflow
-
Wow, this far in and no one has read the error You need to install java. Java 7 is probably the best version to install, if your OS is 64bit install the 64 bit version, otherwise the 32 bit version
-
That's likely the problem then. In saying that though if you move to unexplored chunks after the world is running on a proper tekkit server then the new ores should spawn ok, they just won't spawn anywhere that's already been explored. I guess the next question is why can't you let the server spawn the world?
-
The only way, as far as I know is via ender chests. Teleport pipes don't work
-
Have you given all the fake players permissions? If not (or you don't understand) do a search for [buildcraft] with the square brackets
-
Maybe you could expand a little more as to what you're doing? Is this in a new world or is this a world that you used in a previous version of Tekkit (or a normal minecraft world even) A server log may be interesting to see as well to confirm there isn't anything going wrong in the mod loading
-
if there are no errors how do you know? if there are perhaps you could include them? If it really is running out of memory, change the memory allocation defaults in your launch.bat file to give it enough memory, assuming your computer has enough memory in the first place
-
You aren't running 64bit Java, even if you have it installed for some reason your system is using 32bit java. Edit your start.bat to point specifically to your 64bit java install, or confirm you have 64bit java installed
-
My guess is your transformer is backwards, the Macerator and Induction furnace will both take up to 128EU/t so you could try running those two without the transformer and see what happens
-
Just for reference, here is a working setup

How do I automate charging an energy crystal?
Wendo replied to cerebralcow's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Uhh, an MFE doesn't need charged crystals to craft it. It'll work just fine with uncharged ones -
You're feeding it high or medium voltage, throw some transformers before it and only feed it low voltage

"Disconnected by Server Failed to verify username!"
Wendo replied to WizzyGamer's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Since the minecraft login servers are/were down. That's likely the cause. -
BuildCraft/ComputerCraft/Forestry/Redpower aren't working
Wendo replied to Tubristus's question in Tekkit Classic
Add permissions for the fake users these mods use or op them. Basically PEX is getting in the way. The users are [buildcraft] [Redpower] and [industrialcraft] Since firestry isn't included in 3.0.3/3.0.4 I'll assume that was a typo, but if you've added it manually it's likely the same issue -
Of course, if you can't afford the diamonds for glass fibre, then the best way is to upconvert to EV, use 4x insulated and down convert at the other end, that way you're losing less of your power since you're sending it in the biggest packets. You might still lose 80EU, but you keep 1968 compared to losing 80 from every 700 you make (or whatever your reactor output it)

Does the wrench turn them in the right direction?

Also a screenshot of the setup you're using to power the quarry would be helpful.
