Good thing WE FIXED THIS BUG for you. This BUG that was absolutely with Technicpack and not a MISTAKE you made. Joshing aside, good thing you've got it sorted out now. Play on.

http://biomesoplenty.wikia.com/wiki/Redwood_Tree You can check to see which version of Biomes O' Plenty this modpack has on your own. Then follow the instruction as posted on that wiki.

Yes, you read the Rules and Guidelines link in my signature, and then you post your issue on the tracker.

I think your immediate issue is not having anti-virus. Go get that fixed first! I recommend Avast!, but there are more good, free AV out there. As for Diamond Dimensions not downloading, go talk directly to the creator of that modpack.

EE has changed considerably, last I played with it, so don't think you'll ever be able to set up factories like that again.

While awkward and slightly annoying, the map will simply overwrite itself. So, there's no absolute need to reset it.

Topics of this nature need to be posted on the Tracker. Please follow the links in my signature, and carefully read the one that goes to Rules and Regulations. That way we can help you best.

Need help with the launcher! (Cannot connect to Minecraft.net)
Melfice replied to potatoman23's topic in Platform Pagoda
The launcher had difficulty reaching the authentication server of Mojang. Several things could be wrong: - Your internet connection was being silly. - Your Anti-Virus was being silly. - The auth server was down at the time. Try again. If it works, the problem was Mojang's. If it still doesn't, check/reboot your internet connection. Also, try temporarily disabling your anti-virus to see if that fixes anything. You may need to allow your AV to let the launcher create an outbound connection. Also, in the future, please post your technical issues on the tracker. Link is in my signature. -
Your logs appear to have been deleted. At any rate, you need to check out the Tracker. Have a search there first to see if the anybody else had the same problem. Their solution might help you as well. If it didn't help, post on the Tracker. Make sure you follow these when you do. It makes providing help a lot easier.

On the Platform? You make a new account. Otherwise, it's not possible. Maybe you could set up a redirect rule in your old email account so any emails sent to you gets redirected to the new account?

There was nowhere else to post this, except Platform Pagoda
Melfice replied to MrDialga34's topic in Off Topic Discussion
You're wrong. There was somewhere else to post this. Try Platform Pagoda. EDIT: Also, try making it yourself! It's not that hard, honestly. Just fiddly. -
Yes. Just you.

Have a look at Archimedes Ship mod.

Help Me Eror downloading file for the following pack
Melfice replied to PatatesTR's topic in Off Topic Discussion
This is the Off-Topic section. Its subtitle is "non game related discussion". At which point did you think posting this here would be appropriate? Anyway, contact the person who made the pack. Like it said in the error. Their download location is probably broken. Readin's not yer strong suit, innit? EDIT: In the future, any problem with downloaded packs, post in the thread for the pack in Platform Potluck (inside Platform Pagoda) or contact the pack author directly. -
How do I install optifine for the technic mods
Melfice replied to thekraken2324's topic in Cafe Lame
Questions regarding Hexxit go in the Hexxit forums. Secondly, there are loads of threads, no doubt, already on the subject. Do a search in a Hexxit forums. Thirdly, have you tried following the installation instructions for Optifine? If you can't follow those, then any help we give would be time wasted. -
When you're working on your interdimensional transport system, don't forget to pick up a chocolate donut. They're essential for tightening up the nether-rifts and stabilizing the energy flow. True science facts!
-
It's actually not a magical modpack. It's an adventure modpack. I have no idea how much magic is involved in Hexxit, as it's been quite a while since I've played that. The idea for Hexxit was to always be on the move to do more adventuring and looting. Not to stay in your base and stare at your books all the time.

Surprisingly, no. There's no fucking rule about fucking swearing. Ain't life here just fucking grand? (Now, I don't usually swear this much. Comedic effect, and all.) Secondly, go read the rules. You'll do better in the long run. Finally, no. It wouldn't hurt me, but surely you know that the average human being is lazy. The less I have to do, the more willing I am to help you. Two clicks with a direct link would have me have the .zip open, and in most cases I can have just a quick glance and already see what's wrong, tell you and we'd all be on our merry way. And yes, in your response to me, you gave me a direct link. I no longer needed it as plowmanplow has given you the answer to fix your pack. My input on that wouldn't have been necessary anymore. Now, here's me telling you I didn't know that the downloaded .zip is in some folder somewhere. I do basic level support. That means glancing through .zips and telling you your folder structure is wrong. Or you're missing configs. Or gods knows what else can be glanced from the .zip or sometimes, if that doesn't help, by going to the Platform page and seeing they put their pack up against the wrong MC version or having wrong download sources. I don't know the intricacies of how the Launcher works. Don't need to. When it comes to that, more knowledgeable people will take over. At any rate, you have your answer. Don't let this little encounter tarnish your future experiences here. We're all quite happy people here, but some of us (that does include me) have a low tolerance to bullshit. If you know how to handle yourself with some smarts, however, you'll fit right in. Have a good one and stick around.

Hey, look at all the fucks I'm no longer giving on helping you fix the problem you made in making this pack! Thank the gods for plowmanplow. For future reference, include a direct link to your pack. It means I click once and have direct access to your pack, instead of clicking through multiple websites or having to go through the Platform and Launcher. And don't sass the people trying to help you. 1.5.2 is an unlikely Minecraft version to have a pack in these days.
-
This should have gone in Platform Pagoda. 1) Should the pack be in Minecraft version 1.5.2? That almost seems to be the first big error. Unless it was intentional. 2) Without the original .zip, it is impossible for me to even have an idea of whether or not you packed the files up properly.
