  1. I think to say that my mind is blown looking at this would be a serious understatement. Perhaps you could have a display of some sort, used by lighting up lamps. Sorry if you already have one, there's so much there I probably missed something...
  2. I'm guessing it was your world then. This might work, but make a backup first, just in case. Try removing the enderstorage mod, loading the world, and then adding it back in. Perhaps it will remove the EnderStorage stuff and fix your world.
  3. Does that "Tekkit Lite" forum not seem the obvious place to go? There's plenty of information, if you look in the right place.
  4. I FOUND THE PROBLEM! You need to downgrade Java, Minecraft isn't built to run on future versions of Java which haven't been released yet!
  5. I think it's the difference between public and private distribution. While modpacks are public, server packs which require membership to access are private. Free access to anyone server packs are public, and need permissions.
  6. Well, he didn't take drastic action as far as I know, so perhaps it's a good chance to try out that new modding feature in the launcher.
  7. I think he's fine with Technic, it's just part of his official permissions which Technic hasn't met.
  8. I'm assuming you aren't using Forge if you get ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException at 256. Forge comes with the 4095 Block ID fix, which allows blocks to be up to the ID of 4095. I would really recommend Forge, since it does do a lot to help when it comes to modding.
  9. In later versions, Buildcraft actually makes Quarries load chunks.
  10. The server's Lite now? That explains why I couldn't connect!
  11. Having extra mods shouldn't stop you going into servers. Not having the correct mods might, but you can have extra ones.
  12. Try redownloading the server, and transferring the world file. If that doesn't work then try making a new world. If it works with a new one but not your old one, the world is probably corrupt.
  13. Why do I always hear about these things on the forum first? Oh yeah, it's because I run the forums in the background all day... Nice feature, Cheapshot. Hopefully it'll save us a lot of time with people trying to install mods, and other people too.
  14. I want Tekkit on my Toaster, and I want it now!
  15. Yeah, just make sure you have the right version and put it in the modpack.jar.
  16. Tekkit Lite doesn't have permissions to use Optifine(No modpack does), so Optifine will not be in any modpacks at all in future.
  17. It's better than just putting malware in without warning. I've not used Railcraft much, but I still think it should definitely be in the pack if possible - it can be used to make some pretty awesome builds.
  18. A kind old granny sees that you don't have any wishes left, and accidentally drops the box of them she was going to give to you on your head, giving you concussion and permanent brain damage. I wish I could control my computer through my brain and play Minecraft on it while I'm asleep.
  19. Don't worry about that, it's just that 5 mods have been updated past the Minecraft version you're on, I think.
  20. Does the same happen on Singleplayer and in different servers?
  21. Holy crap! This texture pack is beautiful! Look at all the pretty pictures and stuff! Screw Sphax and JohnSmiths, these textures make them look like something a kid drew with a bucket of paint and no brush! I'm amazed that this texture pack isn't more famous, seriously.
  22. I have a feeling that asking people to spam the forums won't go down well, and could end up having a negative impact. If you want Redpower, this is probably not the way to go about it.
  23. It seems that way when you look at it, but you would be amazed at the amount of people who come here expecting the Technic team to be the ones who make the mods, and begging for features to be added to mods which the Technic team has no control over. It's true that, without downloading the mods themselves, there are many people who don't realise that the modpacks aren't actually just one mod made by the modpack team. Perhaps the main reason Minecraft's modding community is so different is because people are allowed to mod by Mojang. Instead of the "We're all in this together, let's work together" kind of attitude, because they're all doing the same thing, with Minecraft, which is so easy to mod and to learn to mod, you have people being more protective, because there are so many kids playing Minecraft and learning to mod, which means more people can be ripping off work, stealing mod ideas and, I guess, it just creates an atmosphere of mistrust. Instead of working together, the mod makers seem to fear that their work will be stolen, and this extends to modpacks sometimes. I'm sure there are plenty of other reasons, but that does seem to me to be a factor in it. If it wasn't, wouldn't all the mods be open source?
  24. 1.0.5 is the modpack version, 1.4.6 is the Minecraft version, latest is it telling you that it's the most recently released version, Rec i telling you that it's the recommended version to play on at the moment(Usually meaning it's stable and not very buggy)
  25. That's probably the mod makers motivation for refusing modpacks.
