People cant exit theyre area, its 100% impossible (we tested and tested that over and over again) In regards of the lag, i dont think we need an upgrade, I found enough redstone to create aprox 80 RM matter, those that knows the math, knows thats aprox 500k redstone. The server only restarted once, that was my own fault, not giving it enough memory and it only happend once. It never crashed due to entities, players crashed due to renderingissues (guess what 500k redstone inside 11 pipes does to a client ...) With this map, we do intend to actually not just challenge players, we also want to let ppl learn those basic basic plugins, and how Tekkit interacts with them. Those that did over 4 challenges knows what im talking about. As Alpha stated, we do intend it to be a "norule" FTB, but its damn hard. There are just as many "bugs" that there are items added compared to Vanilla. For the blazerod, as it is by default with the mods added to Tekkit, we dont really consider it an exploit, its actually a machine/factory that needs to be set up, compared to the obv dupe with the RM furnaces etc. Call it game mechanics. When it hits to the part where the teams get the EE items, it is as Alpha say, pretty much over. EE IS overpowered in regards of having 0 nerfs (we did nerf the huge greifitems due to that ppl stopped to play the FTB as we intended it and instead used most of the time to "greif" the other teams (tbh, they managed to blow out the netherportals for spectators so we had to stop that part). @bwb, the timer i slowed down 15 mins before you logged in, so it wasnt off overnight We do encourage the "extreme route" of the mods, sadly, but let it also let u guys learn some stuff, that some setups, machinery etc is infact bad for the client, and will cause crashes. Im totally aware of what happend and have happend to alot of servers. Also, we do want players to learn about protectionbypass with this map. Not for them to greif, but for them to learn that Tekkit, really cant be compared to Vanilla, at all. Its a totally different ballgame!

  5. Colour the pipes, assign items to colours. I really advice to youtube Direwolfs videos on RedPower2. Its way way better than BC in regards of itemtransportation. And, its a system thats logical.
  6. Its all ok Sorry for the delay, had to take the dog to the vet, hopefully it can be ready in 30 mins, but no guarantee. And last match ended in a tie, none of the teams completed the map.

  8. If you shiftclock items inside of it, it dupes. Pretty simple dupebug that easy to use.
  9. First of i would use RP pipes and logics if you arent using that, the BC pipes can be abit "tricky", especially of you get filled up chests/machines.

  11. First off, go into the configfiles of the mods, and start with dissabling items in that end. That will 100% dissable those items.

  15. Try this out: Place a blockbreaker or similar next to it, let that be ur friend breaking. If u dont use blockbreakers, try a quarry or something else that breakes items instead. Ppl gotta be aware of that some are damn good creative, in finding ways to bypass protection servers throws out.
  16. If you are to add more stuff, its recommended to shut the server down, make changes then start it again. If you do commands like /reload, well, ur borked. I havent tested with the EE tools yet, as i prefer to dissable them instead since they in large number/usage creates some not so wanted lag.

  19. Its possible to dissable the feature of transmuting placed block with the P.Stone, but generate lightning i havent gotten to stop work yet.
  20. The worst thing to do on this map, is to belive your behind, really. There is nothing called behind on this map. We will ofc allow teams to play several times, its just to sign up again. Just be aware, we change the map for ea version of it so that some teams dont get an unfair advantage.
  21. After ages without donorperks, well, not even accepting donations (that felt strange to say ), the work on that part is started up again. Also we have done some restructuring of staff, and we have started to work on more plugins, to improve the gameplay.

Sorry bwb, I hope that its understandable, that when you first off showed that you were missing some basic vanillafeatures, then claiming our map to be broken, then pulling the "this map isnt legal, ill contact slowpoke", we kinda gave you up on you. Even after you "asked 50 ppl at the Direwolf IRC", well ... it was a real good effort, but you would been better off asking on these forums instead. However, im looking forward to the map u are creating, we will defo play on it.
