[3.1.2] TekkitCraft [250 slots][Hard][New Map] || [CC dissabled, EE enabled]
Sp0nge replied to Sp0nge's topic in Open Servers
We just encoutered a hostissue and SQL, please hang on while we try to sort it. That bug has been around for ages With condensors, there are a ton of mobdrops avalible around, atm, best way to get them is to buy them form others. -
First off a pluginlist for whatever server would come in handy. NoLagg and CB++ could have some of the features that would make itemdrop appear as they are for some here. Also parts of EE, like the gem of density/void ring could sometimes trick players, as it sucks in items into bags and just convert it into other stuff. There is usually an explenation for the behavior, and its usually eighter related to the player themselfe, or pluginrelated in regards of the server. There are some cases thats related to graphical issues (client vs server communication). But those items are usually items that are duped in some way, or spawned in.

3 - Enderpearls? Not tested that myselfe, but some say you can just use them to teleport inside fields made by MFFS

In order to sort your player, i might need to delete yourplayerfile. That would be removing of all of your inventory and armour. As i can see, its the only option that I got. -

Please state your full IGN, and it will be looked into. -
As serverowner, i myselfe has 0 issues with it. I have alts, ive been around, rules in general means shit on those ive been at. All that has tried to run a server over a longer periode of time knows this. Sorry
-
And a team of 2 gets nice free stuff . All depends on where u go my friend. i would claim 99,5 % of the server has faulty rules, they are just there to justify a ban/kick. I guess it might also be a part of how long ppl have been on SMP, I myselfe started on SMP on 1.5, starting with finding bugs for the server i was on right off the start. I know how this "we have rulez" shit works. Greifers serverhop, and make them nice posts, then exploit. Untill stuff are properly fixes, rules means shit, sorry but true.
-
Might be correct, but whatever rules etc added, in the end means shit. Greifers and theives knows that rules are added for a reason, its an issue. No issue no rule right?

Since we had a huge hostcrash, we will at last start some dropparties. If someone wants a head start at a server, this is the time to join our server! We will drop items from banned/inactive players, for the next hours! -
You cant ever stop players from exploiting by just a rule, tbh, only fools belive in that (no offence intended). Its tbh the same in regards of greifing, stop it before it happends!
-
This is why server should not have rules, but nerfs and adjustements. If you tell someone not to greif, what will they do? Same goes for exploits: Dont exploit the EE dupebugs or you will be banned. Like right .... Dont make rules, make the fixes!

I forgot to throw in a restart. But with almost 2 days since last restart, and over 60 players on, i still wanna say that just confirm our fixes, and now "this shit works"! -
Have you updated/changed the serverfiles provided by Tekkit in any way?

There is no need to recompile this, there is allready a fix avalible for this from the mod themselfe. I would suggest to google the issue next time, and allow the mods to fix theyre own stuff. -
Minecraft 1.3.1 "Open to LAN" and Tekkit
Sp0nge replied to refpuz's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
An ETA is impossible to predict. Tekkit rely on others to do some work, Tekkit is just a endproduct. Ive notice that its easy to say "dont ask for ETA", but not many really explains why. The issue is that when Minecraft updates, first off the core of the SMP stuff needs to change theyre code. This is stuff like Forge and CRaftBukkit. When MC updates, this will take some time. After taht part is done, those that has ported the mods/created the mods. Needs to open theyre programs, and start to adjust theyre mods towards the currently working Minecraft. That part, really isnt easy. There is alot of code that needs to be first of looked at, then what Minecraft changed in there code, the mods needs to find, and change in theyre own code. Usually this results in that some parts or the code they got will break theyre mod, and they will need to rewrite theyre modcode. That part takes time. Just ask yourselfe, how much time do you have to play? Then for e.g x5 that in time. Thats the time a "normal" mod needs to update to the new SMP features. Then they need to test it, make shure its not that bad. When its seems like its working, they will release the mod that they are in charge of. Mix in RL, this might take some time. Tekkit dont have contact with these developers, so they have no way of telling when all the mods thats inside Tekkit is made ready for SMP. And when theyre done, Tekkit needs make a pack out of this. Thats why there cant be made any ETA on when Tekkit for MC 1.3 is out. -
10 noobs, 1 gig is fine, 10 advanced players, 4 gig should be recommended.

I thought i told you ingame "howto sort"? Its a clientsided issue, not related to MultiVerse. Just rightclick on all the outputslots, till you arent getting anything more. That should basicly sort it. Some graphics clientside wont render due how data is transfered between the client and server. Its impossible for us to fix, we can only fix issues/bugs serverside. -

We have done 0 changes to the serverside of things, only done "ingamechanges". And this is the result that LagMeter gives us back (this has been damn accurate for us during the last 6 months) http://pastebin.com/iLmiJhvX
