  1. Oust Added whole map ousting feature. To cleanup the mining world. Added a whole map townblock removal feature. Mining cleanup again. Added a WE region ousting feature. To clean up fallen towns near spawn or such. Added a packet content hashing and comparisation filter to the /oust packet limits menu. This will compare packets that the server want's to send, if they have already been sent in the last 5sec. If the content hash matches, the packet wont be sent. Again, only useful for player with slow internet connections playing in high activity towns (like mine).
  2. I would think the host, we have runned BOSE for ages with no issues at all.
  3. http://www.twitch.tv/dfissell One of our trustfull members finally is back on streaming, this is real interesting to watch, trust me :)
  4. This change is for those that struggles with low bandwith in general: Oust Added a packet filter feature into /oust packet Comes with packet profiling to see how much some mod packets take under /oust packet s And limiting (which saves) - use it when you have limited bandwidth like me. So when you build your systems too big and start getting DC. Have a look in the stats, then test ur internet speed and set the limits (ore use defaults with /oust packet l on) Ill explain this for those that dont understand this: Server sends info to the client, and if this info is to much and your internett cant handle it, you will lag. Thats why this is created, to make it so that players with lesser bandwith can still be able to play, with alot less lag!
  5. Seems like someone made something ingame thats real CPU heavy. Do you have full EE enabled? EEflowers? I would gone to 2012-10-05 00:50:53 in the serverlog, put the server on a temp port (so only you can log on) then backtrack all the players logging in, going to theyre last known positions and watch console. Ofc, these players most likely have moved now, so you would have to do it on a fresh "disconnect". I would also recommend that you install a plugin to check for TPS, like LagMeter. You can also do /townyadmin ingame to get some idea on how many threads the CPU is at (its ofc not 100% accurate but you will get an estimation atleast). I would say that most likely something is starting to use so much of the CPU that the server just falls behind on it selfe, threads stacking up, calculations put in que etc and eventually the server gets enough, kicks all players out so it can gather itselfe again. Beside the EE Q, do you have chunkloaders enabled? If so, just try and run the server on another port for 30-50 minutes with noone logging in, see if the same happends again. CB++ also does mobspawning differently, have you done a /butcher -a and see how many mobs there infact are on your map? Also you should post how much RAM and CPU specs for reference And you can also test reverting back, see if its more stable then.
  6. Last day we have been discussing the gameplay with players online, stuff like EE/EMC, endgame, and similar issues. We are aware of that we got a highter turnover of new players, but most players joining the server just leaves, moslty becouse they HAVANT read our changelog. Many EMC farms are dissabled, blockbreaker nerfs etc. Do not join without reading the changlog please. To endgame, eighter know the mods, or be patient. Tnx :)
  7. Equivalent Exchange Fixed BHB/Void ring dupe bug Changed Merc eye, Pstone to be less agressive with the block removal event and only send it when its aboslutely needed. Changed swiftwolf's projectile to check perms for pvp & build rights when creating lightning I might have to explain this some. Yeah we did patch this earlier, BUT it wasnt a real good patch. Now the BHB can again be used inside of the bags, with no ways to dupe. Swiftwolf now basicly cant fire lightning into towns to kill people (making it townysafe).
  8. The new donationsystem should be in place pretty soon! Sorry for the guy i refunded, you were testing our betasystem, didnt know it was possible to find it
  9. Since this server seems to actaully be called Haxir would u please change the topic here? We have used the servername TekkitCraft for a year and players might get confused with your topic.
  10. Both you and your friend are now banned (again), without any chance for appeal, please find another server to play on.
  11. There is a post on our forum marked with your name, please use that one: http://tekkitcraft.com/index.php?threads/mrdare360.416/
  12. 1: Doucheplugin isnt really working, sorry 2: Balance, isnt really balanced. Sorry, had a go at ur server Protip: Red matter armour vs diamondsword = nothing much will happend (u thought i had creativemode bcouse i had better armour than you?)
  13. By default, there should be no alerts like that. You prob have something else installed (or updated) that does this. We run a "basic" CB++ setup and arent having that in our console atleast.
  14. There is whatever the players decide to make. As for servershops etc, there is none. All trading is done by players, all prices are set by the players :)
  15. Oust Added a new command to cleanup stuff the player doesn't want - /oust clean Added a new command for admins - /oust clean <playername> Added a new command /oust kicker [on|off|set date] which can control the auto kicker module - view the status, start it, stop it or set the lower date from which lwc will be removed
  16. http://twitch.tv/zerglingkyle Also streams can be found on our website when theyre online at www.tekkitcraft.com
  17. If random its based on chunks loaded, easy as that. Plugins refered to are working constant, they really dont change. You are having chunks loaded at random times (read players tend to log on at same times every day) that drags your TPS down. TPS meters are mostly used for those thats capable of monitoring whats going on, if yoou cant monitor it, well, u honestly dont need something checking it, as it wont help you, ever.
  18. NoLagg usually dont spike and does TPS issues, it generate player frustration. Really, thats the huge downside of NoLagg, the itemdropbuffer. It dont work as intended, and you just get players complaining. Sad fact is that it will still do the action, even if all is dissabled. Not as bad but well ... its still there. I just cant stress enough, you CANT say that a plugin drags the TPS down, you just cant. If your server runs fine sometimes, and sometimes it dont, well, its a playergenerated structure of some sort making server drown. Plugins are usually constant, especially plugins in referal here. They dont generate TPS drops over time (in most cases). EDIT: IC2 isnt the laggiest i would say. Redpower i would put as Nr1 if "done wrong"
  19. So i see there are alot of opinions going around, whats good, whats bad, howto log CPU usage, threadusage and alot more. I try to avoid this usually, but sometimes, well I feel some statements done are wrong: 1: Those that monitor plugin and modusage on a higher level, knows that the hardware most "highend servers" have, can handle upto 500 players IF running vanilla. No offence, but you seems to be one of rather few ppl knowing whats going on. You should also know, that those numbers are MINOR to whatever mods can generate. Those can be off the roof at some parts. Also, most average serverowners have no idea what those numbers means if not put into the large context (but ill not go into that right now). 2: You CANT, i have to say CANT ever rely to that its a plugin creating any TPS drop if you CANT know if the same chunks are loaded. Really, the mods are more heavy than any plugin out there (beside those coded into crappyness). If you cant recreate the enviroment of that plugin exactly as before (without same chunks loaded), almost any statement is false (exepctions those that actually knows howto log) 3: Nolagg vs Lagmeter. Well, this part might be more tricky. Nolagg, with all dissabled is the same as Lagmeter. However the itemstacking is still in somewhat of effect, even if its dissabled. Both plugins will do the same, beside that those using NoLagg will have some players still complaining that eighter some items are not dropping on mining or vanishing. In general, dont really know howto setup plugins, just use LagMeter, they both do the same (for issues refer to 2) 4: TPS drops are modrelated in 95% of all cases, 4% relates to Hamatchi and the remaning 1% are those adding plugins that seems cool, without reading feedbacks of them pre adding them 5: Voting for servers is whatever you make it to. Give out 3 diablocks pr vote, why wont ppl vote? Really, more rewards you give, more votes you get. Its not the standar that people vote for quality, they vote for amount. (i might get a few negative feedbacks on this one). U get a cake AND a diamond for that!
  20. https://minecraft.net/ Might be that MC itselfe is down? Theyre doing some work or something?
