There's plenty of opportunities to make a secret room in Tekkit Lite. Wireless Remotes which open a piston door come to mind. It looks like a wall/floor, but right-click with your remote and BAM, secret entrance.

I still don't understand what you want. If you're going to do "modules" like that, then you could just set up a bunch of custom zips containing all the possible combinations. Or have users manually install it.

No it doesn't. It just creates another network adapter you can use to connect. So I guess by your logic, connecting to my phone using Bluetooth is also tricking my PC into thinking my phone is really a Switch? Interesting.

This is pretty stupid. Custom zips were intended so friends could easily play together and server ops could just give out the custom zip link so people could connect to the server. Just layer them all over each other manually into one end product.

Use another multiworld handler. There's a lot of plugins which can make new worlds, TP to them using commands but nothing more. Utilize Mystcraft portals to travel between them easily, kinda like Multiverse Portals.

Anything which can make zip files. Windows XP and up will work just fine, even.

Launcher looks pretty nice, but I kinda prefer the old layout. I guess I could get used to it, but maybe an old layout option would be nice.

Quantum Suit is still the best, I'm pretty sure. I don't really know a lot about Modular Powersuits, though.

You could use Mystcraft, or install MCPC instead of BukkitForge. MCPC is basically Bukkit with Forge support, so it supports Bukkit plugins natively. Here's the MCPC Jenkins.

Impossible. If you mix up all the mods from the two packs, then about 50% of people will not like how invasive GregTech is, or how mod X does Y to the world.

Post your own bug report in the bug reports section, both of you. Also, look carefully at the error log and it will tell you exactly what to do.

I tried FTB for a bit, spent half an hour fooling around trying to disable GregTech, got frustrated at the Beta pack not starting etc. Apparently, everyone who plays FTB is supposed to be psychic and obviously knows that one certain modpack doesn't work. But apparently it's too much to ask to just have it removed or at least have a warning label or something. I can see why people like FTB, but I don't like GregTech. And if I disable GregTech, I might as well play Technic.

Exactly. Competition is good, as it will make both packs turn out better. There's no place for antagonistic stuff like vandalism or "if absolutepath contains "technic" mod.donotinit()" in this community, whether that be directed to Technic or FTB. Sadly, there will always be mindless haters who just can't accept the fact that modpacks remain a thing of choice and preference.

You should get the one with more RAM and a HDD. An SSD doesn't really give that much of a performance boost in terms of server hosting. RAM will do more good than the SSD will.

IMO donors should get perhaps the ability to color their name or something. But no perks like access to items and blocks others don't have. That just ruins it.

Ah, okay. Well yeah, this is a pretty well-known bug. It's why the RM furnace is usually disabled in servers. This is exactly what happens when you don't index properly and just copypaste the regular furnace code.
