Probably a balance update to Nether Ores. Also, make sure you're macerating them, not smelting them.

Forestry has only ever required a lot of work to install into Technic for a few days. And it's not particularly hard to install GregTech if you really, really wanted to grind your ass off for a Macerator. Just copy everything from modpack.jar into minecraft.jar, delete META-INF and copy everything to your .minecraft folder and use the Minecraft launcher.

If you go to your Survival Inventory, NEI's full GUI will activate, while still being in Creative. You could also consider using Creative+.

Trying to use Mystcraft in worlds opened to LAN is basically an instant crash. Try downloading the official server software and transferring your world to that.

Have a little patience when turning the forcefield on. It takes a while to initialize in SMP.

Happens to me as well at times, just toggle fullscreen twice (So either go out of fullscreen and back in, or into fullscreen and back out) and it should work again. This has cost me plenty of upgrades when trying to apply them to my Recyclers.

Make sure the pipes are set to the right frequency (And not set to 0), and that the receiving pipe is set to actually receive.

Well-known bug. I think it's fixed by removing either NEI or that inventory sorting thing, but only serverside. Also, mind telling me what "strg" is?

Are you using a texture pack?

Could you please use the default texture pack? I haven't the slightest idea what I'm looking at. Also, could you remove the cable? I might know what the problem is.

Same happens to me when using the exe version when a firewall is blocking the connection. The updater fails but the launcher starts. In any case, either disable your firewall or use the .jar file for Linux.

You have two releases of TreeCapitator installed. Remove one of them in the mods or coremods folder.

I'm pretty sure mob despawning was disabled in 1.8.1, but breeding wasn't added until 1.0.

I think OptiFine isn't included in any modpack because the Ultra edition might not suit everyone. Some people might need other editions. That said, my Minecraft experience isn't complete without OptiFine, so I always go the extra mile to install it. Definitely worth it. I can't stand playing without Better Grass, Better Snow and Connected Textures.

Select one of the blank slate modpacks in the launcher, then go to manual build selection and choose 1.4.6. Then make your custom modpack from that. Why use 1.4.6, though? Mods, servers and clients from 1.4.6 and 1.4.7 are cross-compatible.

A lot of computers and/or turtles can put a heavy load on the server pretty quickly.

You take an empty modpack.jar and install forge into that.

Quantum Armor actually has two entries of metadata: Damage value and actual charge. The damage value represents the charge in normal cases. However, when you spawn Quantum in like that, the armor will be "undamaged", but still empty. So you'll just have to charge Quantum Armor manually and put it in a dispenser system.

Ah, that takes me back to Beta 1.7.3, back when landmasses like that were more common. Gotta try that seed sometime.

I always play Survival, but I use Creative for experimenting, making proof of concepts and trying out what works and what doesn't.
