  1. The creators can't just snap their fingers and bring the condenser to 1.4.7 instantly. Besides, it's not like EE3 is going to stay in this unfinished albeit bugless state. Transmutation IS coming back. You'll be able to do the same thing you used condensers for, but you can't automate it anymore. Just wait until EE3 is developed a bit more.
  2. Wait wait. You installed ModLoader? Note that Technic uses Forge, and Forge has its own ModLoader which can load ModLoader mods. So unless you're "drawing" over a vanilla installation, you really don't want to add ModLoader.
  3. Launcher Version: 1.0.4.3 Operating System: Windows 7 Professional x64 Java Version: 1.7.0_14 Antivirus Program: Microsoft Security Essentials Description of Problem: I uploaded a custom modpack zip to my Public Dropbox folder, and everyone can access and download it just fine when they try to download it with their browser. However, the download goes VERY, VERY slowly when I make my friends download the pack using the launcher. As in, it takes 1 minute for every percent. This happens on all PC's. Error Messages: Error Log:
  4. Seems like someone placed a turtle or computer, and probably intentionally made a program which causes a lot of lag.
  5. Usually that link either only works once, or only works for people who have access to that folder (Shared folder). Or it's not a direct link.
  6. How did you install it? Is it a mod which goes into minecraft.jar? Any files that would normally go into minecraft.jar now have to go into modpack.jar.
  7. To directly link to files using Dropbox, it needs to be in your Public folder. If there is no "Public" folder, then make one.
  8. It's for the Steve's Carts mod. You integrate it into a minecart of some sort.
  9. The creator of GregTech doesn't mod for others, he mods for himself. He also has no interest in allowing the mod to be played in Technic. Not that we need GregTech. It turns IC2 into one big, boring grind. And what do you expect from a guy like that? A mod which is actually good? Give me a break. There's threads all over the FTB forums asking to remove it, and tutorials on how to remove/disable it. Example 1 Example 2 Example 3
  10. Yeah, just make them from UU-Matter. If you have a massive HV Array factory, it should be easy enough. Although I'd never play like that again. It's like EE2, but slightly delayed. So I avoid making iron, copper and tin with UU-Matter.
  11. Generators are good when used with tree farms. Geothermal Generators are great once you get access to the Nether. Beyond that, I always go solar. Costs massive amounts of iron and doesn't work at night, but it's worth it. Free EU, and lots of it.
  12. Install OptiFine. If that didn't fix it, set Lava and Water animations to "Dynamic".
  13. It's supposed to be a secret recipe anyway. And why even use nukes? I'd rather spend that 5 uranium on uranium cells or near-depleted cells for lots of EU.
  14. Weren't those part of logistics pipes?
  15. I can confirm this happens on Open to LAN worlds using the quarry, whether you have a Dimensional Anchor there or not. Try downloading the server software instead and copying your world over.
  16. Induction Furnaces have always given XP for me. Electric Furnaces too. Even Tin and Copper. The only thing which never gave me any XP was Bronze.
  17. Phased Pipes do work between Dimensions. In fact, I set up a pump system which pumps lava from the nether and uses Phased Pipes to teleport it into a tank, located in a Mystcraft Age.
  18. Solar Arrays work. If you really want to use lava, then just use BuildCraft to pump lava directly into Geothermal Generators. Geothermal Generators no longer need to be MK II to accept Lava from BuildCraft.
  19. I read up on Mystcraft, and it seems this exact problem happens when the client and server item ID's for the Mystcraft books don't match up. Check both the client and server configs and see if the ID's actually match.
  20. Thermal Expansion adds its own Tin. Tekkit Lite has IC2 Tin disabled. You can't find tin below Y=40. So mine a little bit above Layer 40.
  21. Dimensional Anchors work just fine for me. They need to be loaded once before they keep stuff loaded. That's how Forge Chunkloading works. Teleport Pipes have officially been added to Buildcraft as Phased pipes. Setting a frequency is less buggy now, and you can also make them either private or public, much like Ender Chests. You can't craft a "special" phased pipe back into a Phased Transport Pipe anymore, though.
  22. Ah, yes. That was quite a bit of fun. Too bad I was like 4 years old at the time and I was too scared of the ice monsters to go any further.
  23. Yeah, I really liked that game too. The fighting is awesome as well.
  24. I could never really stand the campaigns in Zero Hour because they forced you to watch an unskippable cutscene every time you loaded a level, even when loading a savegame. Worst part is, the "Loading bar" you see at the bottom during these movies is completely fake. As soon as the movie ends, disk usage suddenly goes up and the map loads instantly.
