  1. Increase the amount of RAM. Also, Technic will not run well on 32-bit Java. I'd say install 64-bit, but you have a 32-bit OS. If increasing the amount of RAM and installing Optifine doesn't help, then you're out of luck.
  2. Way to not read the thread and therefore miss the point entirely. The point was that the mod adds about 1 or 2 functional items, he was questioning why it was included in the modpack. He never said "Wtf happened to EE2 I want it back". And EE3 is still kinda OP in my eyes. You can transmute 2 logs into 1 Obsidian, and 4 Obsidian in 1 iron ingot. Combine this with treecapitator, lumber turtles, huge trees and some automation, and you've got yourself a ton of free iron, and therefore gold, and therefore diamonds. But especially the iron bugs me.
  3. Condenser is part of EE2, which is only for MC 1.2.5. Tekkit Lite uses EE3 for Minecraft 1.4.6. EE3 is nowhere near finished yet. The most OP thing about EE2 were the collectors. After that, the Condensers which were just SLIGHTLY too easy. The Transmutation Tablet was okay, though. That was compensated with the Hazmat Suit, which literally allows you to swim in lava or stand in fire while neither your health nor your suit takes any damage whatsoever, only the "knockback" view shake every 3 seconds due to the (zero) damage being dealt.
  4. If you have OptiFine installed, go into Video Settings -> Animations and try to set Water to "Dynamic". That always worked for me around Minecraft 1.1 and 1.2.
  5. Randomly introducing yourself in the first (wrong) subforum you see and then subsequently advertising your YouTube channel under the guise of "asking for help" isn't exactly a good idea. Just saying.
  6. Ah, it actually generates between layer 25 and layer 50 now. Thermal Expansion's Tin is now being used. Nvm, sorry for the confusion guys.
  7. So I already thought "Wtf, why am I not finding so much tin"? Well it turns out, when I looked at my server's config, the generation of Tin and Copper was disabled in both RP2 and IC2. Why is this? And how come I did find tin and copper at the start of the game? Did the config just suddenly change? Why is this happening, and is there a way to regenerate certain chunks so they contain tin again?
  8. Let me speak as someone who has been with Bukkit for years. The development of Bukkit is just... one huge clusterfuck. Really. Every time Minecraft updates, they have to completely re-write the code from scratch. Worst part is, they're stuck in their ways. If they changed their system a little, they would spend about 5 hours every update instead of 100. But they think their way is the only right way to do it. So they spend hundreds of hours UNNECESSARILY, and when someone complains, they fire that off as argument, stating that "they should try spending 120 hours every update". They also made no attempt to support ForgeBukkit, so the ForgeBukkit team was like "fuck it, we're outta here". Moreover, Bukkit seems to grow more slowly and lose popularity because people are starting to flow towards modded Minecraft, whether that be private modpacks, Technic, FTB or DNS.
  9. You need to install Power Converters, let it crash once to generate a config, and then edit the Power Converters block ID's in the config.
  10. Ah, that explains why my quarry was going so ungodly fast with adjustable electric engines.
  11. So I've seen Railcraft will be removed in the latest version. I'd like to ask: Why? What kind of requirements did CovertJaguar set which Technic doesn't meet? Just curious.
  12. Haha, exactly what I thought, but you can't play the damn thing without a Mac. It's an app.
  13. I knew it wasn't because of the lag issues, especially since Tekkit Lite was made for small-scale servers.
  14. Keep in mind this only works works for Technic 7.5.1 and later. Copy the contents of technicssp/config to your Tekkit Lite/config folder. You will also need to change the block ID's of IC2 Advanced Repulsion Systems or remove the mod entirely. Then copy the Technic world over to Tekkit lite. That's pretty much it.
  15. I like Tekkit Lite. A lot. It's what I've been looking for. With a minimal amount of work, I was able to convert my Technic 7.5.1 world to Tekkit Lite. No more screwing around with LAN Ports and such.
  16. You can add it yourself if you want to.
  17. Yeah, I was wondering this as well. Doesn't seem to be present in the latest Technic builds, either.
  18. "Follow me." "OKAY!" *Walks off cliff/into a grinder*
  19. Look around in Catalyst Control Center, it's somewhere in 3D Application Settings. Set it to Application-Controlled or something.
  20. Sequencers and timers are actually always synchronized to the world clock, it's just that setting it to 300 seconds makes it emulate time of day. But yeah, that would probably be your best bet.
  21. Sure, but Quantum can survive a nuke. And Quantum can hold so much energy and loses so little, you'd have to battle for literally 6 hours straight before it runs out.
  22. Guides like this probably belong in the Encyclopedia Technica subforum.
  23. If it's necessary every 6 months, then I believe the problem is between chair and keyboard.
  24. You have Anti-Aliasing forced on in your video driver settings. Turn it off.
