  1. Yes, it would most likely still be compatible. You just have to find some way to remove EMC value of an item, which should not be too hard. I suppose there is an EMC table somewhere inside mod code.
  2. I guess we will be building a railroad or something to 0,0 then (it's around 600 blocks away). Thanks! Oh btw do anyone have any idea about other problem? It seems that everything I place on obsidian platform, disappears when I exit/re-enter the end. But everything I put to the side of obsidian platform, stays.
  3. I have just entered the end on our server and it does not appear to be generated. I spawned on small obsidian platform in the middle of nowhere. No endstone, no dragon, no endermen, no nothing. After spawning I have placed some cobblestone, an ender chest and a torch. Then I killed myself and entered end portal again. I spawned at the same location, but ender chest and torch disappeared while cobble remained. Could that be tekkit related in any way? How could I solve that?
  4. AFAIK minecraft (or forge or whatever) automatically deletes unknown blocks. That means that when map loads, it will automatically delete all anchors from the map because it will not recognize them.

  6. Thanks for your post! We made some modifications and right now it appears to be running OK. But this is no indication, because lag spikes can come at random :(
  7. I think modifyworld can disable right clicking. I was thinking about fixing EE stuff, but problem is that bukkit have no event for block changing. I could do block break and block place event (so bukkit would think that you break cobble and then place stone when you transmute cobble into stone) but I think that it might confuse plugins?
  8. Just remove it from mods folder and it should be fine. AFAIK this mod does not serve any other purpose so you don't harm anything else by deleting it.
  9. I don't think optifine includes that fix. I have quite good computer, but still have occasional lag spikes in the nether without that fix.
  10. I think it would be cool if tekkit would contain nether lag fix. It's a little mod that makes nether much more playable. I know it's super easy to install manually but many people still don't know how to and so they avoid nether because they have "slideshow" when enter the nether on their laptops.
  11. Weird, I had all players but me disconnected and then I went to the edge of the map where there are no machines or anything around (just an ocean) and tickrate was still around 2. World Anchors and Teleport Tethers are disabled and Dimensional anchor removed, so nothing was loaded except chunk I was standing in (and spawn of course, but I doubt there is anything at spawn that could drop tickrate so severely). That means that lag is created by server itself? Any ideas what could be causing such drastic lag?

  13. About #4, I don't recommend HawkEye. There is no blacklist option which means that all entries from BuildCraft and RedPower will fill out your database and put strain on your database. I don't think there is really need to log every block quarry digs.

  16. On our server we have some serious lag spike issues. TPS can be 20 and then randomly drop to around 5 and stay there for few minutes (or seconds) and then again go up etc. But eventually it will drop and then stay at very low number (around 3-4) until server restart. Spilled items are not problem (NoLagg always reports around 15 or less dropped items and //remove items -1 does not help with the lag). We want to profile a server with something like VisualVM to figure out which mod exactly is causing so much lag, but problem is that VisualVM does not support remote profiling and server is linux console so running VisualVM on server itself is not an option. Is there any other way to profile server and figure out which classes use most CPU?

  18. This appears to happen when there is unstackable ingredient present in the recipe.
  19. For some reason shit+click will also consume blocks in the crafting area for me.
  20. Have you even watched above video? With that trick you can duplicate any items not just ores into ingots.
