I personally don't like it. When frames came out, it was taken with a grain of salt. When this came out, everybody was like "WOW, YOU CAN MOVE THINGS!" These can do everything frames can do, except frames can't rotate, but there is no doubt that will be eventaully implemented.

well, it depends, if you were to give a drooling MCF citizen technic, they would just go, "LOL, IT NO WERK, MAH PIPES NO CENNECT." If you were to give the same person Wiremod, they would go, "LOL, EXPLODE BUTTON!" each has it's capabilities and disadvantages, you need yo be pretty smart to use them to their max.

try tapping the shift key. with the way LWJGL works, keys can get "stuck" and still be registered as being pressed despite being released. When you tap the key, it detects the release, and resets.

it would be good for puzzle maps, like It's Better Together, cause i am pretty sure that involves not placing or breaking anything. also makes it so you can't cheat.

or you could just have the rewrite packaged with forge, with some easy hooks to make coloured light and casting light easy, and then it wouldn't require huge rewrites of mod's codes, it would just require them to use a forge hook instead of notch's weird ass programming. Not sure if that would fuck over the laser mod or anything like that though. There also comes the problem of smooth lighting with coloured lights too.

with railcraft, you can link carts. But seriously, is the turret cart idea possible? This would be awesome :P

exactly, the real greifers are using shit like reliant to nuke the server. If a team like AVO comes on your server, you are pretty much fucked.

exactly, the good hacked clients are so much fun to use, especially on terrible servers with spazy admins. also, the REAL greifers can fuck up a ton of shit really quickly, it is the ones that just randomly break shit that aren't a threat.

maybe incorporate some sort of anti-cheat software into technic? I am just shooting into the dark here, i got no idea either.

I was looking around for a good greifing client to fuck up the MCBANS listings, cause mcbans is crap that deserves to be messed up. But, I stumbled across Team Avolition's site, and they had tutorials on how to make greifing clients. That shit is easy. I could probably do it as soon as I figure out how to make a toggle. No doubt there is some sort of technic hacked client circulating around by now. Soooo, what are we gonna do about it? I propose beating the clients with ducks.
