no, I am using the default ubuntu text editor(gedit), it normally works just fine. If that is the problem, I will just use a different text editor EDIT: and yes, I am using the 4096 block id fix, but I was having this problem before installing it, I installed 4096 to attempt to fix it.

This isn't with technic, as i figured i would post this here, but i keep just throwing random shit into my mods folder on my vanilla pack. I was reassigning conflicting block ids, and randomly, redpower was remapping to block 240, which is used by ic2. But, when i went to go check the config, assuming autoassign was enabled and screwing up, i found autoassign disabled, and the block ids in the config were stil lset to the defaults, absolutely no ids were mapped to 240. anyone know what's going on?

even then, whoever told you to put portal gun into the minecraft.jar is a fucktard, the portal gun client folder goes in the mods folde,r make sure you unzipped it.

as a temp fix, you could disable crafting table II, but a block id conflict is when two different mod blocks attempt to map to the same block id. The reason why they don't just assign different id's is that minecraft current has a limit of 255 block ids

This is the cause of many computer errors, as the errors are often called "windows errors." This can be fixed by putting some lines on your computer, which is done by downloading the line drawing software known as linux, and then installing it on to your system. The hamsters will love you for this!

xardas, i get you are just trying to help, but could you be a bit less dicky about it? IC2 crops are confusing, annoying, and sometimes downright nonsensical. First off, I am pretty sure you plant two types of seeds on the crop stick thing, and then when they grow, it has a chance of producing a different plant. I have no idea how this works, so good luck with it!

Jay?, yes it does. about the topic, which server is this corp on? I would be interested in helping with the railcraft stations, clueless with computercraft though, never took the time to learn. If you would be willing to, I would reccomend you ask if the owner of the server could install the floppy version of redworks, which is insanely awesome.

lol, I noticed that but didn't want to mention it,considering some people get up in arms when you say their machine is underpowered.

use optifine, it makes a huge difference, but just accept 10 FPS if you have to, sometimes I have to deal with around 3 FPS for about a minute.

I used to have this same problem, solved it by manually downloading and installing latest LWJGL
