i was bored and looking up linux vs windows benchmark tests on youtube when i came across this video: http://bit.ly/Hw8nsz the video itself was misleading, but there was not much to rage about. the thing that really pissed me off was that some asshole had the nerve to call all linux users basement-dwelling nerds. so naturally, i fucked him up. if you are wondering, i am hello2u08 in the posts. another thing he did was call linux LiEnucks (seriously), and then said linux was everything that it wasn't and windows was, bloated, slow, and an obnoxious interface, and is only for retards.

actually, we should do whatever we can to anger them even more. Eventually, they will make such a wild and stupid claim, that EVERYBODY will know they are lying. Then, the obnoxious owner of the mods get creativity raped by everyone, and nobody likes their mods any more. win for everyone, except for the dumbass trolling mod owners

agreed, i love the dev builds, because it gives me a chance to see what the next version of technic will be like. I also like the idea that i feel like i am contributing to the community by reporting any bugs that i find .

The only thing that ever made me interested in spore was that Will Wright made it. EA is another story. in EVERY SINGLE MAXIS GAME SINCE, they have intervened and turned it to shit. Fuck off, EA.

Re: Could this remove the need for a Technic pack? haha, agreed, EA intervened too much with that. if they just let Will Wright do his thing, that game would have been BEAST. have you ever seen any pre-alpha footage of it? much darker, aquatic stage, far more Will Wrightish, but then EA came and said &quot;DERP, MAKES IT MOAR CARTOONY SOZ THAT KIDZ WUL PLAYZ IT!&quot; that was the point where i knew it was going to be a average game at best. and it turned out to be lackluster for a Will Wright. there is a couple of references in the game thought that indicate that Will still had some say in it, as one of the mouth parts is named &quot;Skexybeast&quot;, which it is pretty obvious what that is a reference to.

i am going to do that. i was already planning to make an awesomeified version of better than wolves once the modding API came out, and that will be it's title. i will make it with technic compatibility in mind, too.

probably some sort of quarry error, sometimes when you use a ton of quarries, they corrupt the chunk, break bedrock, and cause MASSIVE lag. I have seen it before on another server.

agreed, cheapshot, but back to the task at hand: tekkit servers are THE most taxing gaming server possible. insane amounts of simulation, paired with minecraft's already inefficient server chunk loading, and you get a PC melting, ridiculously taxing server. sorry, but yo uare going to need to SERIOUSLY upgrade you processor to run without lag.
