What are you talking about. The vanilla textures are hideous. It's all programmer placeholder art that they were too lazy and cheap to get someone to do finished game versions of. Most games use that kind of art while they're building it, then polish it up to look great before finishing the game. Notch just said "good enough" and pushed it out the door for minecon.

I have a PS3 and all I ever use it for anymore is Netflix. There aren't new games for it very often that I'd bother with for the high cost. Most of the time a good game will come out and I will be thinking of getting it but I realize I can get the PC version on steam for less. The PC versions are also usually better depending on your computer. Consoles are their limitations are becoming more of a weight on the gaming industry these days rather then the thing that drives it like it used to be. Also anything EA touches turns to garbage so really you have no good options unless you spend your money on a better computer and get steam.

The launcher also has a button that says "Mod select" which will hopefully open that config for you. KakerMix Note: Cheapshot died on the way to his home planet and as such derped hard. There is no launcher for the server so :v

Any of you getting a lag problem can help even if you're not contacted. First off, go to the launcher options and turn your allocated memory down. Try setting it to 512. Minecraft itself is awkward and actually tends to run WORSE when you allocate it more ram. If that doesn't help, go back to the launcher and hit "mod select" and turn off buildcraft and see how that effects your performance. Some testing was showing that BC uses 20-30% of the total CPU used while running minecraft. Constantly. Even if you're not using BC stuff. See if disabling it cures your lag. Please post your results here.

Personally people keep playing SMP with me because they like me so I guess I can't relate. "Hurrr I used synonyms aren't I clever!!! It's not asking for an ETA because I didn't use the words TRICKED U!!!!!" Tekkit is being worked on constantly by very selfless and dedicated people. We're not going to slap our hands and demand an ETA from them just because your seemingly terrible players cant go two weeks without updated Tekkit before abandoning you. Get bent.

Fair warning, whoever records will have to do most of the editing in most cases. Using fraps you will end up with GIGS of footage very quickly. Unless you have some way of sending gigs of uncut film to the other guy to edit, you're going to be doing most of the grunt work.

Thank you. Sorry my humor is a little crude sometimes. I occasionally forget the yogs target audience is on the young side. But yeah, putting out two comics a week is very time consuming. If I could afford to I'd move to just one a week, but I don't have a lot of other paying work going on right now. I usually spend 10+ hours drawing each comic and I can already feel it burning me out. I would gladly accept joke ideas for my comics as long as no one is upset if I don't use them. Not much has been going on in the minecraft world lately that I haven't already made fun of so I find myself struggling come up with ideas. I was reading notches blog and twitter looking for material, but he literally hasn't done anything lately. I went in saying "What minecraft stuff has be talked about recently?" and I find a post about him talking about the number of holes in his clothes and some dumb game dev party he wants to host. ...
