  1. Re: IMPORTANT FOR THOSE WHO DONT HAVE PREMIUM!!! **24 HOUR** On top of that /\/\/\, the thread of mine you quoted may have been replaced by a one line post, but it quite clearly says "Offline Mode exists now so everyone can shut the fuck up". This doesn't look like shutting the fuck up about offline mode to me.
  2. Re: technic 6 launcher problem? Yes, it is a scam. We sell your minecraft gold ingots on ebay. 1000 gold bars for $10. u buy?
  3. Re: technic 6 launcher problem? Thanks for this quality thread! No absolutely no one has played it using a legit minecraft account. Not a single person. If you are no longer using a pirate account like you were, then if you use it you will be the first person! Please tell us how it goes. I hope you don't log onto another server where everyone is Jombersson and you are also Jombersson and then you can't log onto minecraft.net. I can't bear to see you go through that horror twice.
  4. minecraft.net was down (might still be). That could be your problem. We can't do anything about that.
  5. This is explained in a sticky somewhere.
  6. Re: JAVA ERROR FIX (Read!) Are you getting a java error? If not then you've posted in the wrong thread. Look around to see if your problem is shared by anyone else, and take a look at all the stickies to make sure it's not already fixed somewhere. If not, start a thread and give as much information as possible. Something to note, the amount of information you've provided currently is not enough for anyone to help you.
  7. No I got you. That's what I was saying, that I hope people don't actually get the impression it means that.
  8. Not terribly funny. Not even close to what open source means. I should hope people don't think that.
  9. We're on the take! And we're selling your gold on ebay! Yeah no. A legitimate concern, but don't worry about the launcher. Shit's all open source. Completely safe.
  10. I did tell him he shouldn't push his luck right? I'm quite sure I did.
  11. So wait, other people are coming in and mudding the waters. To the OP. Are you changing it False to "true" in the NEI config while minecraft and the launcher is closed and it is literally reverting back to "false" when you look at it? Or are you changing it to "true" and it's just not working in game? I'll try and help if I can. It could be that you're forgetting to enable it in game as well as out of game. Once you enable it in the config you need to open your inventory in game and go to the NEI options. Then set cheat mode to enabled. Otherwise it will appear as if nothing changed. If you are doing that, and your config is literally just changing back to "false" and not saving, then it could be a problem with permissions. It sounds exactly like the problem of trying to edit the config while the game is open but you said that's not the case. Perhaps the config is only opening in a "read only" mode that you can't edit? I don't know how to help you with your computers permissions since it's not anything to do with technic, so you might try looking around online. I think I even saw someone explaining it on these forums somewhere so try the forums search feature.
  12. Man, it's a great thing that you don't do such great work and contribute nothing at all to technic or anything related! It means if I don't want to, I don't have to put up with you at all! Glad you got it working or whatever. See you!
  13. Ok. I'll go check your first post. Oh hey look at that. You never said that. You said nothing at all about 64 bit java at any point. My word! Perhaps, and I know this is crazy, but perhaps you just need to learn how to communicate better? Or is me saying that a "nonfeasance"? I don't understand your big city lawyer talk sometimes! Edit: as an added note. The launcher install is completely 100% separate from the regular minecraft client install. You must have done something crazy because under no circumstances should any files from the launcher install have anything to do with the .minecraft folder. There is no cross over, at all.
  14. Interesting. Sorry I just popped in and didn't see your previous post. My bad. If you're not even getting to the point with logs, it tells me that there might be something wrong with your computers settings which is preventing the launcher from even getting going. Try two things for me in this order. First, check if your OS is 64 bit, and then check if your version of java matches your OS. "64 bit or 32 bit". If they don't, update java. If they do, delete your .techniclauncher file and the .exe and redownload. If that doesn't work, delete it again and try downloading the mac version and running that (it's just the jar. Want to check) If that all fails, come back and start a new thread with all your info in it and that I said to start it, and we'll help you further.
  15. ... You're kidding me. "If you have a 64 bit OS, check to make sure you're using 64 bit java" was like the first thing we trouble shooted. It's been stickied all over these forums since they opened. Your failure to look around before starting this giant drama show is astounding. Also stop using the word nonfeasance. It's a legal term, and you don't actually seem to understand its proper usage.
  16. You may be having a common problem. The solution is posted in several places, but just go ahead and run that .jar and tell us what happens. See if it works for you. If it does, just make a shortcut to the jar and use that instead of the .exe. You say that like being separate from minecraft is a bad thing?
  17. We have plans for an app version yeah.
  18. Yes that's great, but customer is still not the proper word, because technic is not a service. You are free to use it if you please, or you can go download all the mods and install them while fixing conflicts AND bridging them so they work well together without overlap like multiple versions of the same ore. Go ahead man. I mean if you have trouble installing technic with the launcher, I'd hate to watch you try doing it manually. The launcher doesn't need installation documentation because we've literally made it 1 step. You press a button. This works for the vast vast majority of people. I am not making some joke when I tell you the number of people who have problems with the launcher is MUCH MUCH less then the number who couldn't get the old installer to work. The small percentage of people who either have poor aim and miss the button, or somehow do something wrong and it doesn't work, or have weird computers that cause it to not install properly, well, they come here, to these boards, and ask for help, and get trouble shooted responses buy us. We don't provide some crappy troubleshooting guide because that would be both a lot of work, get out of date quite fast, AND we are already offering even better support. Personal one on one help from an actual human. There is nothing forcing us to do this, but we pay out of our own pockets for a huge beefed up expensive server to host these forums and provide support for the launcher we share for free. Just cause! So. Instead of taking advantage of that, you've instead decided to use these forums to tell us that you're one of the few people who have trouble with a one button install and couldn't solve the problem on your own. Regardless of whatever computer nerd friends or personal experience you saw fit to tell us about for some reason. And instead of asking for assistance, which is what these forums are primarily for, you've decided to tell us our launcher is shit, and you think we should do more then twice as much work constantly so that you and a few other people can have the old install method back? No, get bent.
  19. Minecraft.net is or was down. Nothing to do with us.
  20. If you are using the .jar version of the launcher instead of the .exe you will need to redownload to get the offline fix. Don't delete any of your files, (But backing up is always a good idea) just run the new .jar. And yes Minecrafts servers are down, nothing to do with us.
  21. In a sub menu of video settings is an option called "Load Far". Try turning that on and see if it helps. It will load chunks for you in a farther area, to cut down on lag while turning around and moving in an area.
  22. TV's on their stomachs man! We aren't even close to their technological level. They've got bio-mechanical engineering years ahead of us. Also, their sun is a baby.
