  1. You could also set up a system that detects if water's being pumped into the engines, and shut the engines off if it's not.

  3. Well, the explosion shouldn't affect the already placed crystals, so if you get one correct, hurrah, you move on, oh no, it fails, try another.
  4. I see no reason not to believe them, really. If they're lying, I couldn't care less, anyway. Technic's convenient and installing so many mods can sometimes be a hassle.
  5. Honestly, this thread's become a bit of a cluster right now and it's difficult to glean information from it.
  6. Something I'm actually curious about, though. What DOES Technic have the permissions for, if not all the mods in it? Not that the permissions really matter to me all that much, because... Really, the way I see it, a modpack is like a large-scale version of installing mods manually, and then sharing said mods with other people. If you wanna bitch about permissions to use the mods in a modpack, you may as well make it so that you need permission to install the damn mod itself.
  7. The Whale Box is for retarded/flaming/troll threads, as I recall. The topic of this thread was nothing to do with any of those. Also, I find it funny how the first comment I found on that video to be thumbed-up that was for Technic was one that basically told a guy who said "Fuck Technic stop being lazy" to... Basically stop with all the Anti-Technic stuff as it's pointless and Technic/Tekkit is very convenient to use, especially in terms of ID conflicts and such.
  8. Did you check to make sure the receive teleport pipe was set to the same frequency and "receive" was set to true? And that the pipe coming out of the quarry WASN'T set to true for receiving?

  10. Slightly more back on topic, but the Aether IS getting updated lately. Doubt it's compatible with anything except probably NEI and such, but, y'know.
  11. Pretty sure there's at least one mod in there that's not in that Ultimate Techpack. It's pretty secretive, so it's forgivable that you missed it. ...I feel bad for saying that now.
  12. I have a small, simple question. In what way would having your mod in a popular modpack that gives credit for the mod and allows people to donate to you and not to the modpack-makers be a bad thing?

  14. If I recall, yeah, Red Dragons were the next planned thing with Dragons. The quote, I believe, was "The current Ender Dragon will be made much bigger, these Dragons will be made the size it is now, they'll be able to land and live in caves and whatnot, and they'll be red because dragons are red."

  16. As I understand, IC2 Machines and Cables work just fine, and a Nuclear Reactor functions better underwater due to the cooling. Buildcraft pipes themselves should work, but you may be hard-pressed finding a way to activate them as I don't believe levers or redstone torches function underwater. Redpower 2 logic gates and wiring should function as normal. Of course, if you want to build an underwater city in a bubble, you could do that using MFFS and having an underwater upgrade, which eliminates all liquid within the forcefield.
  17. Certainly would be nifty, and a lot nicer-looking than Frames for pretty much everything. Would probably suffer a lot of issues the Zeppelin mod did if you tried to use Ugocraft stuff along with active machines, though.

  19. Scrap boxes to make diamonds is rather inefficient compared to scrap used to make UU-Matter to make diamonds, though. Simply because, I believe, Diamonds are the lowest chance item from a scrap box. Wooden hoes are the highest, for some reason.
  20. Yep, simple thread. Giant, multi-tiered, fully automated factory that can be traversed with an elevator done via frames? Self-mobile, giant TNT-fortress that also doubles as a Frame Quarry? Floating force-field house powered by the sun? And, y'know, others.
  21. Sure you're not just in a biome that doesn't spawn much/any grass?
  22. Thaumcraft likely won't be made for 1.3, as Azanor has stated he will most likely not update it past 1.2.5, due to him working on Arcanacraft.
