Try removing AVG and re-installing the pack. A lot of times AVG will block the download or let it download but still manage to fuck up some of the files. If that doesn't work try using the .jar version of the launcher

AVG might be your problem. I'm not sure though as it is usually only an issue when downloading the pack. Try disabling it and seeing if that fixes it.

You need to read what was posted. There is no way to use the mod select button. With the new update, Forge does not allow a config file to enable/disable mods. If you want to change what mods are active, you need to go into your folders and manually delete the unwanted mods. Also all of the mods are enabled by default so if you disabled them before, they will be enable now.

I'm pretty busy atm, but it's a possibility. We should let this thread die now since the problem has been resolved.

You can try disabling AVG it but I doubt that will work. Tell him it sucks and that Avast is free and better? If that doesn't work I think you are screwed.

Get rid of AVG, it is causing the problem. Note also that simply disabling it is not always enough. I recommend uninstalling it and getting a free anti-virus like Avast. Also Dell is not an operating system and the Launcher Version is not Windows.

He asked because in my response I mis-read and thought you said you were playing Technic, so the path I provided was wrong if you are using Tekkit. Afaik there is no difference between Tekkit SSP and Tekkit SMP, between TECHNIC SSP and TEKKIT there are quite a few differences.

Re-reading I think he is, so the correct file path would be... C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\tekkit\config

I just go into the start menu, find the program called Run and type %appdata%. Also you can copy/paste the line I posted and simply replace "YOURNAMEHERE" with your username (for your computer)

C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\technicssp\config That is where most of the configs are located. To open then right click and choose Open With... then pick Notepad

When you say that you can't "spawn items" do you mean that they are not showing up in NEI or that they don't work when you click on them. Also could you PM/Post a pic of the "Mods not loaded" thing?
