There's some info about Bonemeal also being bio-reactive, so figuring out how to capitalize on that as well would be pretty toasty. Of course, mob essence isn't that easy to capitalize on without breeding and grinding excess animals from cow/pig/sheep fertilizer farms if you went with the Mob Spawner machine.

Try cactus for the Cactus Green, or squids with a stack of Ranchers parallel for each water layer for the Ink Sacs.

There's been some interesting old bug reports about Thermal Expansion metals being smelted down into blood as a bug, but from what I can see it doesn't seem like there's any real direct way to obtain it in Hexxit; it could be a 1.6.2 thing, as mDiyo can be a bit flaky about content consistency. You'll just have to cheat it in for now, I'm afraid.

Hrm, I could be wrong, I'll give it a test to be sure. EDIT: Back. Still can't figure out how to get blood for sure, but I can verify that it IS in Tinker's Construct--I'm using a custom pack that has it but not Harken Scythe built into it. Still did get surprised that dropping Villagers in the smelting pit area produces Molten Emerald, though. I'll keep poking around--I dropped cows and zombies in there to no effect, so it's not from any other obvious sources of blood.

Yeah, it's Tinker's. I think you get it by putting a villager (or yourself) in a Smeltery.

I noticed something interesting about translocators. Apparently you can't summon frames currently on the other end of a pair of linked translocation. (Been messing around moving a small villager hut between three chunks or so apart, I could still see the other site from one on default.) That's gonna be interesting to work with based on what we're planning to do with these. Wireless redstone to the rescue!

Or just set up a steam engine + aqudeous whatever TE machine right under it, attach a pipe to it from your base, and remotely send it a couple coal whenever you want to restock. Bonus: Find a way to use the pipe to send back the fish. :D

In a wierd way, that's counter-intuitive. Real-world data compression rates favor small implementations for large single-data storage, where you only hold one data item in memory and keep a list of pointers to duplicates on the disk. I'm guessing this is more of a balance implementation than a logical progression.

Just so you're aware, Tekkit Lite is 1.4.7 Minecraft, so you would have to look for a version of the same for Galaticraft.
