  1. Attach a redstone energy storage cube thingamabob to your power network. If the engines suddenly start working again, you simply had excess power in the system so the engines shut down. If the engines don't start and the cub is not powering up then check for breaks in your wiring.
  2. Only thing I really miss are frames. Those were great. Other than that though, everything has a replacement, and in many cases a better replacement. Although the lack of early power storage bugs me. Battery boxes were starting tier blocks, redstone energy cells are mid tier. Hopefully a mod adds in something to cover that gap. MFR is great though and between it and TE pretty much every possibility from mid tier on is covered great. Its sad to see an old friend like ic2 go, but when the friend starts rotting in the middle of your floor and won't clean himself up, he has to go.
  3. Frame with a panel on it, then stick a redstone torch on it. Tada, moveable redstone signal source. Redstone blocks don't add much functionality to technic, although they are very cool which should be reason enough to want them.
  4. Imna guess that you left a mod(s) set to auto assign their item and block IDs, and when you restarted the mod(s) saw a reason to reassign the IDs, thus shifting all of their IDs to who knows what. Check your mod config to see if auto-assign is on. Even if it is, that is 100% sure to be the problem. A way to check would be to see if any mod blocks have changed into other mod blocks, and check to see if everything is still available in NEI. If anything has changed from one block to another and everything is available, then somehow your block IDs got changed, check to make sure your config files are all still there. If the items are missing completely, then you somehow deleted mods in which case you would want to check your mod files and make sure they are all there.
  5. Wrong section. There is a thread for under 4 person servers to post that they are looking for people. There is also a section for advertising your server. The current section in which you posted happens to be neither. Look around a little more.
  6. No, I have had frame airships travel 10k+ blocks in a single direction. Check to make sure the motors have power, they might simply be running out before they get down. Check the redstone signal, make sure there isn't a gap. Are you using a pole or something similar to anchor everything? If so, make sure it isn't running into anything. If all three of those are clear, then you do have an obstruction.
  7. At which point it would explode into little goopy bits of broken code everywhere. I kind of doubt the code is: If exists(==0) then exists++ As you can see, I am no coder, but I kind of doubt that the code is simple, easy, or would simply work with any mod it is attached to. It would most likley require heavy modification, to the point at which you might as well be writing your own post-generation insertion code. I don't know this for sure of course, I am not a coder, but considering the fact that no other mod has included something like that, and the fact that Azanor routinely makes incredible things, I suspect that you would need enough knowledge to write such code yourself before you would have the ability to modify the insertion code successfully. Of course this is all me talking out my ass, I could be totally wrong, but I suspect that this is the case.
  8. No, it isn't possible, Azanor is such an incredible modder that he makes the impossible, possible. Serious response, I imagine the code to insert modded stuff into already generated chunks is not simple or easy, and as far as I am aware, Azanor is the only one who has added such functionality to his mod.
  9. You should just do away with all the BC piping completely, just have the energy bridge set up adjacent to the quarry and transport all the power in IC's EUs. You will find that BC seems to break more often than any of the other major mods, so when in doubt, use IC power and only convert the BC when required.
  10. No. Adding the stuff to already generated chunks is only possible through the incredibleness that is Azanor.
  11. Small scale recruitment thread is here, which you might have better luck with. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/small-scale-recruitment-thread-tekkit-lite.36282/ You could also try just hoping onto a server and talk to people there.
  12. The kerbals probably stole the files for their mun lander. It needed to run something on its computer, after all. Seriously, if the mod isn't installed in your pack, isn't in the mod folder, and isn't in the game, I am going to make the wild guess that it isn't in whichever version of whatever pack it is you are playing.
  13. Gregtech exists solely to make things harder on you. That is the actual purpose of the mod. Add it yourself if you really want things to be harder, but you could achieve the same effect by just throwing yourself into lava every hour or so.
  14. Imna guess that he used the old launcher, and is now using the new launcher. The old launcher put things in .techniclauncher, the new launcher puts things in .technic, so he is probably just looking at the wrong folder.
  15. On point 1 that is intended and working correctly. A combustion engine must cool down to 0 before it can be restarted. It says so in pretty much every wiki page on combustion engines in every wiki. 2 sounds strange, one pump should be able to handle 2 engines. Perhaps your piping is bugging? try it with one pump per engine without connecting the piping for them at all, that is sure to make it work.
  16. That is odd, when I break my quarries, those orange pipes start to decay, similar to leaves which is what I believe the intended behavior is.
  17. The only real energy intensive thing I can think of that rp2 does is large numbers of frames being moved. If you make a large frame quarry that simply advances and eats up everything it runs across that can really suck down power. Other than that though, I can't really think of any other large use of blutricity. The engine is just sending the power off to another system, and the alloy furnace, which does use decent, but not huge, power, isn't going to be running all the time anyway.
  18. Sometimes it feels like blutricity is designed to be annoying to mass up. With only 3 ways to generate power, solar, thermal and kinetic and then thermal being a pain and kinetic taking up huge space, it feels almost like the mod is telling you to use a different method to mass up power. In most mods a coal generator feels like it can outperform multiple of any rp2 generator for less cost.
  19. Yes, for me, a linkbook has replaced the macerator as the first thing to work to. My reed farm is decent before I even start working on metals and ores seriously.
  20. On the smart straw golems, they will only replant if the pant drops a seed or an adjacent plant drops a seed. Since wheat can drop between 0-3 seeds(iirc) then eventually the whole zone will become unseeded, although that will take a long time.
  21. Ya, I actually watched a couple vids and someone had a bluelectric engine running a quarry at near max. Not actually sure where I heard that they were terrible, it could just be that you need tons of solar panels to run it at full which was confusing folks. But yes, I was wrong.
  22. No, there is nothing cooler than golems. They are not the most efficient at farming wheat, over time spots will become unseeded. The stone golems just replace transport pipes, not that great. Wood golems are pure awesome. Iron golems from tc3 though, those are incredible. A smart iron golem can kill pretty much any mob but an enderman, and if you give him upgrade accessories he can even pull that off. TC3 golems are incredible.
  23. Corrupt chunks? Not that I am aware of, although they do keep them loaded. It might be something going on with another plugin or mod he has running that causes them to corrupt things though.
  24. Volcanoes are a little odd in the world generation. They might respawn if the lava at the center is still active if you log off and back on. They also might not. Volcanoes are strange.
  25. Interesting. My NEI lists 4. Although ones of those is nether copper ore but I seem to have a 5th copper ore that is hidden from nei. I have shuffled some IDs around, but right now I have copper ores(excluding nether copper ore) at block IDs:254, 3790, 2001, 1398. Spawn a forge lexicon and a copper ore. Open the lexicon by shift right clicking and put the copper ore in it, you can flip through every other copper ore registered in forge and shift it to any of them.
