Typically if you spend a lot of money on something, and it is not working as expected, you return to the people you gave a lot of money to if you expect professional help. It is their job to get your server working and they are motivated to give personalized customer service. Anybody on this forum is helping you because they want to, not because you spent a lot of money.

Just to point out the obvious, you made sure the conductive pipes are actually connected to something that needs the power right? Engines don't power conductive pipes (visibly) unless the power has somewhere to go.

In the server config file there is an option for allow flying. It is set to false by default, change it to true.

I believe that if the server-ip line in the config file is left blank, the port is left at the default, you forward that port to the computer that is hosting the server, and you connect from within the network in the internal IP, connect from other computers using the external IP, it should work. The fact that your server is not showing anything whatsoever when your friend tries to connect means it is not even attempting to connect. This says to me that either they are inputting the IP wrong, or they were given the wrong IP, or that the port was not forwarded correctly, or their antivirus is blocking the connection. If you already checked everything, lets try starting over. is there a reason you changed the port? Try starting from scratch, download the server again and run it on default settings, forward the default port and have them just enter the external IP with no port attached. If it works you can move your world over, or figure out what was different that made it work.

I don't think you make the ties in the rolling machine, try the standard crafting table.

You don't need MCpatcher to get HD textures, and that is not why you didn't have all the textures. The standard sphax pack does not come with the mods, you need the one in this thread: http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,1182.0.html Did you run mcpatcher again after every time you uninstalled and reinstalled the game? Cuz that would explain everything. Uninstall and reinstall again, put the other texture pack in and you should be good to go.

Go to the Main Page, download the most recent launcher version 0.5.4.9 and run that.

In config\NEIServer.cfg you can set who can use the cheat mode. By default I thought only OPs can use it, so umm don't make server ops of people you don't want to be able to spawn items? Or just go into Options in the bottom right of your inventory and turn it to Recipe mode.

Make sure your java is 64 bit and that your system is set to use the 64 bit version.

1.2.3 is the dev build, it is not ready yet or it would be the rec build. Also this is the forum for the launcher, that sounds like a Technic problem, might have better luck posting in that section.

Firstly, please observe the Bug Report Format when reporting bugs. It ensures we have the information we need to help you. Based off the limited information you did provide, I have a few questions. You say you load a world and it crashes. Are you trying to load worlds in single player, or connect to a smp server. Tekkit is not designed to run in single player, that is what Technic is for. I am not sure what r11 is, If you are trying to force tekkit to load a different version however, you can do that in Options on the launcher. Please modify your original post to include more information.

Double check your external IP and make certain they have it correct. Also, is the server ip: line in your config blank? Are you getting any errors in the server log when they try to connect?

No idea, sorry. You could disable essentials temporarily and see if that fixes the issue, then you would know if that is what you need to fix. Another minor note, whenever i restart the server I fully shut it down, make any changes if any, then start it up again. Not sure if there is a difference in running the restart command.

Essentials is not in tekkit pack, that something you added? I would definately say that sounds like what is causing it. A quick google search leads me to believe that the version of essentials is not fully compatible with the version of bukkit tekkit is using. Try a diff version of essentials, or remove it?

It almost sounds like the server is not accepting input from your client. Are you able to restart your server and reconnect to it?

hmm, can you break out blocks they just don't drop? It sounds like youre in creative mode. You should be able to double tap jump to fly also =p You should have noticed that when you opened your inventory though. Either you created a creative server on accident, or you clicked the creative box in NEI. Or I am off-track.

Make the config file have cheat mode off, and make yourself an OP.

Did you move far enough away from the spawn area? The chunk you spawn in is protected.
