Hm. any other character weirdness? Did you check the files themselves for letter discrepancies? Because according to that log, you have a bunch of files that don't exist, which means your client wasn't fully downloaded OR it's looking for files that are named improperly.
-
It looks like the launcher can't find a directory containing a bunch of textures. You mentioned something about the letter i being switched up with something else? Have you tried going through the .technic directory and fixing the i's?
-
Have you tried stuffing your pants with sherbert and yodeling?

Post your error log, and we'll see what we can do.

It's been a long time. Several months at least.

Redstone engines don't actually work like that. They're pretty much only for moving items now.

Where is the power coming from for the macerators? you probably need to step the power down with a transformer. -

I'm a particular fan of Electric types. If you've got time, I'd like to see any of them, aside from thundurus. -
Planescape: Torment is a masterpiece.

I agree, but adding/disabling IS a pretty big thing.

Some of the swords from Tinkers Construct have partial armor piercing on them.
-
FtB launcher has some nice things. Adding and disabling mods is easier.

This sounds like a rogue antivirus. AVG would likely be infected and made useless on its first run. http://malwaretips.com/blogs/system-care-antivirus-removal/ These steps seem the most likely to be an effective solution, based on a cursory google.

Yeah, but you only need a handful of casts, and gold is ridiculously plentiful.
-
Just a tip, don't bother too much with copper unless you want to build with it. Gold works perfectly well for casts, and copper doesn't make anything powerful enough to warrant wasting time and materials on building. Look through the books Tinkers Construct spawns for you, and you'll find the alloy recipes for stronger things.

Are you sure? I can't move the enchantment slider if two of the enchantments are supposed to be mutually exclusive.
-
I know, and that irritates me. I don't use it, but I don't like that it's there. Also, if you find enchanted things with enchantments that are normally mutually exclusive, you can't disenchant them. So those pants with Protection IV, Projecitle Protection IV, and Fire Protection IV can't be leeched.
-
Just another hint to deal with the difficulty: Once you can fight through low level dungeons, make sure you pick up any enchanted things you find. The enchanting enhancements make it so you can leech enchantment levels off of things, to regain XP. Then you can use that XP to make yourself some really tough armor.

Read the books that the game provides.

I like Manyullyn for the blade and rod, and paper for the crossgaurd. I use longswords. If you can find a decent source of witherbones, i split the modifications 50/50 between witherbone and quartz upgrades.
-
Ah but have you fully sharpened your sword yet? Also, here's a tip. Without sacrificing tool quality, you can make bindings/crossgaurds out of paper, and get an extra modifier slot.
-
You can press F3, i believe, and view your seed.
-
I would MURDER someone to get that in hexxit.

The empty spawners are scripted spawns. Get out of creative/peaceful and they'll turn into context specific mobs, like specters or pirates.

hold the cast, and right click the casting table under the spout. Then right click the spout.
