  1. That's really interesting, what version of FML do you use?
  2. The resources folder streams in at runtime, the fact that it's missing isn't important. You are running java 7 on a mac with the default LWJGL, which is a nono. You need to downgrade to java 6, or manually upgrade your hexxit install's LWJGL to I believe 2.9.
  3. It's saying it can't find LWJGL. You're running java 7 on a mac, I'm pretty sure there's special stuff you have to do to get LWJGL working. Alternatively you can downgrade to java 6.

    Server Crash with 1.04

You say your java is update 25, but your log says differently.
  5. Hello- you did not install the config files we provided for your correctly. By default Better Storage & Bibliocraft have an enchantment ID conflict. Our config files fix that enchantment ID conflict. You somehow screwed up your install and now you have the conflict.
  6. You need to provide the forge log or nobody can help you.
  7. It seems like P is an NEI hotkey as well. This may be the cause of the issue.
  8. delete your .technichexxit folder and redownload, should work
  9. A couple things: - Update your java to 1.7.0_25 - If that doesn't work, try increasing your memory allocation from the cogwheel in the top right hand corner of your launcher. Hexxit is tested with a system and settings very similar to yours, so you shouldn't have RAM issues, but this crash does look like a potential RAM problem.
  10. It sure looks like you've done something wrong on your end. Post your server's forge log.
  11. There's not enough info here to provide help, please post the whole message.
  12. If you know what you're doing you can also start BigDig.jar from the command line, but definitely never start minecraft_server.jar from the command line unless you want to play vanilla.
  13. You could also make getting the ankh an adventure- it's a rare drop from the Pharoah boss, who can be summoned with 13 torches and 9 redstone. I understand that some folks don't want to have to go to all that trouble just to make their house, though. :)
  14. Ah, they must have incremented to _51 when 1.7 incremented to _25. Regardless, older versions tend to perform worse than newer versions, etc.
  15. You don't need 3Gb of RAM, this modpack was engineered to work with 1, but generating chunks can take a bit, depending on what your machine is like. If you're having really just shit-awful performance one thing I'd look into is your java version- make sure you have a 64 bit version and make sure it's the latest available for your OS (macs 1.6.0_45, everyone else 1.7.0_25). The best improvement you can give your computer to play hexxit more easily is a faster hard drive, if you're playing in SSP.
  16. Hi, that message just means that the other side of the wire stopped talking to you unexpectedly. The "real" error would be in the log on the other side of the wire.
  17. Hi, bloodwood CAN'T work correctly, because of the way they're oriented, the cores shouldn't for various reasons, natura redwoods (not EBXL redwoods) can't work correctly because they're so massive that we had server crashes when we let them work normally in testing. That said, I see some in there (darkwood) that were working okay post-1.0.1 when I tested. I'll try them out, but are you sure there wasn't a bug with your axe instead of with the tree?
  18. About how often do these occur?
  19. Hi Zypherius: we figured out the problem- http://mattryall.net/blog/2009/02/the-infamous-turkish-locale-bug It's a funny sort of issue, I'll throw a PR at them to fix it tonight, but in the meantime, I'd recommend copying ID #'s over in that file like I said.
  20. You're best off copying the ID's from the i entries to their equivalent ı entries.
  21. Where are you from? What's going on is that there will be an ID in there called "acaciastairs.id" and it will be set correctly. But your machine is looking for acacıastaırs.id, without the dots. So it'll pull up the default ID. Any thoughts about that?
  22. Dimensional doors isn't as harsh as it used to be. By default limbo only drops you maximum 500 meters from where you ought to be (I increased it to 2k because I'm a jerk but you can reduce it back down). I also believe that you are only in danger of being thrown that distance if you fall prey to an obelisk now, but that may be incorrect.
  23. Can you pastebin the contents of your extrabiomes.cfg file?
  24. Hi, that message is actually not a big deal- it just means a player disconnected in a way the server wasn't expecting, and it doesn't bring down your world. If your world is crashing there's something more informative in the logs. Instead of screenshotting a server console (honestly), get me the ForgeModLoader-Server-0 file from the server folder. Put it on pastebin or host it somewhere and I'll take a look.
  25. Hello, can you look into your .technic/hexxit/config folder for me? Are there two extrabiomes folders in there? What about inside the folder, are there two extrabiomes.cfg? It looks like your hexxit install cannot find the extrabiomes config that we included with hexxit- it might be because you deleted it when you weren't supposed to, or it could be something else.
