Wolfie_Waffle Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 A user recently sent me a crash report for my modpack. I tried looking at it, but I can't figure out what it means. Does anyone know the problem? http://pastebin.com/4C6Bs6Ex
CharZinta Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 A user recently sent me a crash report for my modpack. I tried looking at it, but I can't figure out what it means. Does anyone know the problem? http://pastebin.com/4C6Bs6Ex First. Always post a link to the pack your asking for help in and a link to the download of the actual mod zip file Second that error is indicative of several things but the biggest is JAVA 6 trying to run a JAVA 7 call. IE ReflectiveOperationException does not exist in Java 6. Check the java version on the server this pack is trying to run on. also pastebin the FML log if you have one.
Wolfie_Waffle Posted February 18, 2015 Author Posted February 18, 2015 Ok, here is the link to the pack: http://beta.technicpack.net/modpack/the-wilderness-echoes.552865 And the zip: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/y7fjrr4kizxidjf/WildernessEchoes.zip?dl=1 Does this mean that this is a problem of the user, not the pack? Should the person who got this crash change Java versions or something else, or is it something I need to do?
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted February 18, 2015 Discord Moderator Posted February 18, 2015 Yes, the user in question should update to the latest Java 8. This may require installing the Java 8 JDK instead of the JRE. Wolfie_Waffle 1
