Goggles of Revealing

I am trying to craft the goggles of revealing but it is not working -.-

Have you considered using NEI's recipe mode.

Probably that wikia is outdated.

Goggles of revealing is a research item, which means you have to research it in a queasitum in order to craft it.

Be warned that research for one perticular item could take a long time and a lot of resouces.

You're sure you've got the discovery and opened it atleast once, right?

Discoveries tell you a little bit about the item, and tell you the crafting recipe. They're required for you to be able to craft it

Make sure you've got the discovery, and not a theory!

Of course, if you're trying to open up an obelisk, you could do what I do and spam crystals until it works :D

But if you do that, there would be 6^4=1296 combinations possible. That's a lot of crystals.

um, no, you click one type of crystal on each slot, hoping it doesn't explode, makes it so you can only waste a max of 20 crystals.

Well, the explosion shouldn't affect the already placed crystals, so if you get one correct, hurrah, you move on, oh no, it fails, try another.

There's a high number of possibilities, but you don't need to try all of them. If you're reasonably smart, it should only take 20-30 crystals total.

To make sure you open up one, you just need 4 crystals of each type.
