pacman227811 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Are their any texture packs out there that anyone has found?
Legionkiller Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 The painterly pack has support for the mods of the technic pack if I'm correct. http://painterlypack.net/ Also, smp revival used to have mod support back in the 1.7.3 version of minecraft. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/327307-16x10-smps-revival-128-fully-updated-with-an-old-texture-overhaul/
Jay? Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Not unless something has changed with Painterly. Last i heard, the person who made the textures looked at the shee massiveness of technic and turned away in horror.
Forum Administrators KakerMix Posted January 19, 2012 Forum Administrators Posted January 19, 2012 We *might* be getting support for at least IC2 from a big-shot texturer but no promises as of yet. SMP has given me some unreleased material to use, so I have a sort of proto-SMP texture pack thing made using those textures he's provided. He's ok'd me to release it as well, so here you go! Note this is NOT complete.
Turk182 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I use the Soartex texture pack. Looks good with the technic **REMOVED** Here is a rule: Absolutely NO ADF.LY OR ADCRAFT WHAT-SO-EVER.
Forum Administrators KakerMix Posted January 19, 2012 Forum Administrators Posted January 19, 2012 No direct adf.ly links. Linking to a page is ok, but we will not allow any direct adf.ly or adcraft links at all. The proper way is like this: "I use the Soartex Texture Pack!"

BloodravenD Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I use the faithful32x texture pack. It has most of the mods covered. I think it does all the tekkit ones, and I know EE is covered.
RoggBiv Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Most Mods are supported by Sphax: Original Addons
Tomprower Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I want a nice Dokucraft high technic pack texture pack
ColTim Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Regarding Dokucraft there's some partial support. IC2: http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=2310 BC/RP: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/692070-dokucraft-industrialcraft2-bc-addon-32x32/ Can't really answer to the quality of said textures, but whatevs. In addition, there is some middling-quality texture addons for Isabella for all the mods in tekkit, found here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/882510-scotts-unofficial-isabella-mod-support-center/
Joejoejoemo Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Let's just hope someone is willing to undertake such a large texturing and update it regularly...
njdmoorpark4 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 the SMP texture is really good i hope he decides to take it over and keep cranking them out
pacman227811 Posted January 21, 2012 Author Posted January 21, 2012 I have been useing a Doku Texture pack for technic. Here: http://www.mediafire.com/?xbz3wz03220t1ja One thing you'll need to get the doku support For rail craft Here:http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16340814/railcraft.png You put the file in /Minecraft/Railcraft_clinet_X/Textures
Solaris Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Question, how do you use tekkit in conjunction with MCPatcher? I.e. is it possible to play tekkit with high-res texture packs, or will I have to make do with some blocks +fire/flowing water looking silly? Cheers!
Rx2TF Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 MC Patcher is unnecessary. Optifine provides HD texture support.
Solaris Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 ...Except optifine bungled it up way worse than before. Come on, is there no way to get this shit to work properly? =(
BloodravenD Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Question, how do you use tekkit in conjunction with MCPatcher? I.e. is it possible to play tekkit with high-res texture packs, or will I have to make do with some blocks +fire/flowing water looking silly? Cheers! I believe tekkit has Optifine installed with it...so no need for MCPatcher.
EpicDigger Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Like biv said. Sphax covers alot of mods and IC2 just happens to be one of them.
Neowulf Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Anyone know of something simple for someone partially color blind? Everything else about the game is fine, but the buildcraft diamond pipes give me a problem. The yellow and green used are impossible to tell apart.
BigDaveNz Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 If your computer can run 128x Texture Packs... Sphax itself is 16x16 through to 512x512 but all the mods are 128x128. Sphax covers all mods except Character Adding mods (Tale Of Kingdoms, Millenaire, Mo' Creatures) And Xies Farming.... Everything else from forestry to railcraft etc. is all textured. But NOT on the default sphax thread. Ruyan And Amon and Caden and many others do a great job with the modded textures. The Sphax Add-On Project also has a Pack for Tekkit SMP 1.1.4: http://www.eclipse-project.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=346 Sphax: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/376784-16x-32x-64x-128x-256x-512xmc11-sphax-purebdcraft-211211/ Sphax Add-On Project: http://www.eclipse-project.de/forum/index.php?sid=7d11a92f31dd08876f9b977bfa916d2e
dwong Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Try Sphax Pure BDCraft, it has extra add on to buildcraft and IC2 http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/376784-16x-32x-64x-128x-256x-512xmc12-sphax-purebdcraft-050211/ http://www.eclipse-project.de/forum/viewforum.php?f=6&sid=55ef46e31f100a7dfee0866b9066bb3e http://www.eclipse-project.de/forum/viewforum.php?f=7&sid=55ef46e31f100a7dfee0866b9066bb3e
thedredge Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Question, how do you use tekkit in conjunction with MCPatcher? I.e. is it possible to play tekkit with high-res texture packs, or will I have to make do with some blocks +fire/flowing water looking silly? Cheers! Optifine Should do all this for you just put the pack in the proper texture pack folder.
Morton00000 Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 http://minecraftcustomizer.net/pack/Mortons%20Smooth%20and%20Simple/ Well I have been working on support for my texture pack. The support is not complete but I have finished most of Industrial Craft 2 and Railcraft along with some of Millenaire and Buildcraft. I also have other miscellaneous mod support done.
