Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted May 5, 2013 Discord Moderator Posted May 5, 2013 Or the water pump pipe. That thing is awesome. No power required like the AA, but only a single source block is required and it is quite speedy. Hehe, put 6 water pump pipes on a liquid tesseract and you could fill the grand canyon in the blink of an eye. Quote
Valkon Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 No power required like the AA, The Aqueous Accumulator does not require power. Quote
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted May 5, 2013 Discord Moderator Posted May 5, 2013 Hehe, probably a poor choice of grammar on my part. That was what I was trying to convey. Quote
Coco12570 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I usually build my base by a river (makes it look cool) So I have usually 12 AAs running and 20 Steam engines hooked up with the redstone pipe stuff and all this cool shizzle whizzle being powered within an hour or so. Quote
lukeb28 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 redstone engines have actually been nerfed so they break when connected to a mashine. I don't know the circumstances but I do know that you can't set and forget pumps and redstone engines anymore. IC2 pump? Herp-a-derp. I think that if you use a magmatic engine and connect your pump to it as well as your tesseract (Or whatever else you're using), it should work well and for ever as long as you don't run dry of lava. Quote
Lethosos Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Hrm. I'll have to get a magmatic for my BC pump, then. On the bright side, self-feeding loop! Quote
Forum Administrators sct Posted May 5, 2013 Forum Administrators Posted May 5, 2013 I don't get that. I have never had a pool fail on me, no matter the pump I use. Although the accumulator is probably a better habit to be in anyway. Yes, learn to use it. It reduces stress on a server. Or the water pump pipe. That thing is awesome. No power required like the AA, but only a single source block is required and it is quite speedy. Hehe, put 6 water pump pipes on a liquid tesseract and you could fill the grand canyon in the blink of an eye. Since when does the AA require power? Quote
Lethosos Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Actually, AAs do sorta use water as a power source. The more source blocks you put around it, the faster it pumps out water. Quote
supaman1982 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 see now they just need to come up with a pump like the aqueus accumulator for lava and we will be set for it all Quote
Lethosos Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 *hands Supa a BC Pump, a Magmatic Engine, some Liquiducts, and a bucket* There you go. Quote
supaman1982 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 thanks lethosos. quick question.. anyone know if there working on a wiki for the New Tekkit? Quote
lukeb28 Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Why your welcome! *smiles from one ear to the other* Quote
supaman1982 Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 got one more question for ya....whats the best way to power a fuel loader Quote
Lethosos Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Pick any engine above redstone, or hook it up to a power source, like a charged redstone energy cell. Those things are very handy. Quote
