Jake_Parkbench Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 So currently running on a well above average rig and the game seems to skip every 2 to 3 second and skip for .5 to 1 seconds. I have no real fps loss, nothing below ~30 fps, normally run at 60. I have tried java 64 bit, i have 8gb allocated and another 8 gb left over, and nothing helps. We have two other computers here an both run just fine and are lower overall specs. Any suggestion?
PainDemonSF Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Yeah, I have the same thing. I'm not really sure how to fix it though.
Kalbintion Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 More RAM does not mean Better Speed. The more ram you allocate the more the computer has to do work with that allocated space, along with java needing to maintain that space. That is extra power necessary. Keep your RAM to a max of 4GB (3GB is fine in most cases, i only suggested 4GB to allow for resource packs being used)
