Help Finding hamsters

Hello hoping someone can help me out. I have searched a lot throughout my server that I play on and I cannot find any hamster.

Does anyone have any suggestions that would help.

Try looking in plains/savena boimes

Don't move too fast - they have a tendency to spawn half in the ground, so they'll pop up every few seconds in that case.  If you're flying over, you'll miss them.

Yeah, just go through a forest or some similar biome, walk slowly and be constantly on the lookout for their tiny little itty bitty cutie patootie pixels.

 

Also, now that I have 2, how do I properly tame them?

I believe it's either seeds or hamster food that'll work.

They have consumed half a stack between them. Hamster Food it is >.>

Ok I will give that a try and hopefully it works. When i am going through a forest type biome i try to fly slowly through it.
