Melfice Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 I have a bug! I can't actually find 1.0.13c in the launcher. Just me? Or am I just too soon in trying to access it? I dunno how quickly that updates...
Kalbintion Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 (edited) Ditto on Melfice's issue, cannot see 1.0.13c in the version list. Edit: Here's the changelog from 1.0.13b to 1.0.13c for those interested: - Carpenter's Blocks can no longer be used in Archimedes Ships designs. - Witchery has been updated from version 0.19.2 to 0.20.5. - (Since 13b) Fixed several Food Plus ID's. Cocoa butter should no longer result from random recipes. Edited August 18, 2014 by Kalbintion
CanVox Posted August 18, 2014 Author Posted August 18, 2014 Well I guess I could remove its private status if you guys REALLY want to play it. My bad, it's now latest. Melfice, Lethosos, MrMunk00 and 1 other 4
DanielUSA Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 You should incorporate the fix for the Flan's Titans in this version.
MRjaymoney Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) yea i mad a post yesterday about the cocoa butter but now how do you make it? umm u can make cocoa out of making clipboards Edited August 19, 2014 by MRjaymoney
Melfice Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I found a config for Atomic Science in the config folder. Slight accident? (I am currently modding the installation with some more mods, but I'm pretty sure it's not me)
blacksheep25 Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) I found a config for Atomic Science in the config folder. Slight accident? (I am currently modding the installation with some more mods, but I'm pretty sure it's not me) That file is infact left in the config folder, Also "- (Since 13b) Fixed several Food Plus ID's. Cocoa butter should no longer result from random recipes." still isnt fixed! Edited August 19, 2014 by blacksheep25
Melfice Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) Issue #1: World Generation defaults to Biomes o' Plenty. That is, even if I pick "default", it still loads the BoP biomes. Intended behaviour? EDIT: Probably intended behaviour, yeah. Setting in BoP config was set to True. Issue #2: Food Plus fruit trees (orange, banana, coconut etc) do not spawn in the wild. Or have I just been incredibly unlucky in that I haven't found any? I wanted to see if it was just related to BoP worldgen, but that's obviously where issue #1 comes in. EDIT: Testing shows that they do show up in default worldgan. They may just spawn in vanilla biomes, which are considerably rarer... though that doesn't explain why they showed up in a BoP biome in the last 1.0.12 version... Maybe I'm just really unlucky, like I thought before? Edited August 19, 2014 by Melfice blacksheep25 1
IDED Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 woot for the fix for food plus caramel, looks like I can update my tutorial series for this one now then.

As for the cocoa butter, when I place a bonemeal into a crafting grid in survival mode, in 1.0.13c, I receive a needle but no cocoa butter. If that's not the case for you, please make sure you're on 13c and not 13b, reset your pack, and if it persists, provide me some data so we can figure out why you're different.

I've had a few cases where even resetting the modpack didnt update the config files properly (might have been some weird permissions error when it tries to replace them due to antivirus etc) and that if it still fails to work even on 1.0.13c after updating from 1.0.13b or any other previous version, going in to delete the config folder manually then resetting the modpack should resolve any odd issues like this.
CanVox Posted August 19, 2014 Author Posted August 19, 2014 That sounds real bad, if someone is getting a thing like that, try to see if something weird is showing up in the console on install okay? The launcher should at least be screaming at you when something like that occurs. Kalbintion 1

Defiently running a 1.13.c install, the thing that's happening is when im crafting a random number of items in the crafting table holding my shift button and clicking to put the stack in my inventory it's showing up as cocoa butter from food plus, but after clicking the cocoa butter it changes back into what it was suppose to be so it seem's to be a visual gltich. Haven't had it do this from the past bteam version's what file's do you require? I'll post some stuff up on the tracker, EDIT: Defiently getting cocoa butter from putting bone meal in a crafting grid for the bone needle too. I've just reinstalled a clean copy of 1.13c and a clean server for 1.13c and having these issues, no extra mod's or file's added Edited August 20, 2014 by blacksheep25
Melfice Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Just a quick update on the fruit trees issue: I ramped up the spawning to 10 in the config. In a (fixed) default world, you can't take a step without tripping over fruit trees. In a Biomes o' Plenty world, still nothing. It appears BoP is interfering with the spawning somehow.
Lethosos Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Could very well be a similar situation like Natura trees need a bit of clear space to grow/spawn.
DanielUSA Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) The only Natura trees I have seen are the redwood tree in the redwood biome, the willow tree, and the trees in the Nether but in creative there are all sorts of trees I have never seen spawn in a survival. seal54321 Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 I am not sure if this is fixable but is there a way you could fix it so we can use netherrack tools and cobblestone tools? There is an error with chisel because they replace the vanilla blocks so it does not allow certain tcon mechwork things like the igniter. Thanks!
Loader Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Cobblestone can't be used for tools, that's an old change to TC and is by design - you need to use smooth stone now. The Netherrack thing is a bug, though.
Kalbintion Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 use netherrack tools Indeed a bug, not sure if its a confliction with the mods in the pack or if its an issue with tinkers' itself. Just give yourself the netherrack item and toss out the equivalent netherrack so it isnt cheating as much.
BigDrewskii Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 (edited) We here at DrewKraft are running the new 1.0.13c Update! Come check it out and have some fun! All the info you need is here http://www.kittenwar.com/ Edited August 22, 2014 by Munaus PaulHotel 1
Kalbintion Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 This isn't the place to post a server advertisement...That's what the server section is for. If someone wants to play on the latest version, theyd go there.
Loader Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Maybe netherrack tinkers stuff could be put on mineBay in mrCrayfishes mod until it's figured out? It'd cost an emerald to buy each part rather than netherrack, but it'd make the items legitimately attainable (or maybe just the netherrack plate for the igniter).
Kalbintion Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 There's also the option of spawning in a villager and editing their NBT info to be the "Netherrack trader"
Loader Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Oh yeah, there's plenty of ways of fixing it on a server, I was thinking as a more general stopgap for AotBT for people who don't like to fiddle with server economy systems or NBT editors.
