Skin Issues

So I've noticed that in the past week with Hexxit and a few other modpacks that my skin won't update to the new one I uploaded on minecraft.net. I'm stuck with one that I changed from about 8 days ago I, think.

So, call me dense but I didn't find any actual solution other than to wait for it. It's been a couple days and it hasn't updated in game or as the launcher icon. Is there any other info I could provide that might help you help me?

Pretty much - it was a wait for it solution at that time, new information has been presented to me. So,

 

Go to the .technic folder,

Go into the assets folder

Delete "avatars" and "skins" folder presented there.

Let me know if this resolves the issue.

If the above method doesn't work for you, please run vanilla minecraft 1.8pre3 (youll need to change your version by editing the profile and enabling snapshot versions) and log into the game. Let me know if you have a 3 pixel wide arm or a 4 pixel wide arm (you'll be able to tell just by looking at it)

Alright, done and done. The first suggestion was a no go so I did the second and it is 4 pixels wide.

Alrighty. It appears the few people who had this issue are now having their skin show up in-game after waiting for up to 3 days. This may just be the time frame to show up in versions pre 1.7.9 down to 1.3 of minecraft. There is nothing we can do about it.
