I've been working on a modpack for a while now and have been using USB to give it to my friends but some friends I can't really get to so  I want to put it on the technic launcher, which I did. I watched tons of tutorials on Youtube and followed their instructions exactly. I put my modpack on Google Drive instead of Dropbox though but that shouldn't been a problem because I watched another video in which a guy did just this. The link works perfectly fine but the mods themselves won't load. I've read through other threads to no avail.

My Minecraft version is 1.6.4

The files (bin, mods and config) are in a WinRAR zip file with their assigned files too.

I can't seem to find any problems with it, it doesn't crash, it doesn't give me any errors, it just won't load the mods. I checked the modpack file in the .Technic file and it showed that forge was installed correctly because all the additional files that came with forge created themselves on launch of the modpack but on the in-game menu of the modpack it doesn't say that forge is installed, which is really confusing to me and i'm sure to anyone reading this.

I am open for ideas and suggestions, which is the reason for the thread. If anyone knows how to fix it please tell me as soon as possible.

Thanks beforehand.

What Munaus said, if I had to guess from what you said in your post, you have your forge universal jar named incorrectly, in the wrong location, etc. But without that modpack api url at the very least, nothing can be done for certain.

Your download link is private (and may not be direct). I'm not sure if anyone has gotten Google Drive to work with the platform for downloading modpacks.

I know Google Drive works because I saw a tutorial with it and it worked.

There is no logs folder in the files in .Technic...

And in the Technic folder there is a coremods file... but the tutorials never mentioned it so i never made a coremod file so it's empty, is that a problem?

I don't think you understand, without us being able to download the modpack, logs or not, there is very little for us to do to help you. It could be anywhere from an issue on how the file structure is setup, to an incorrect forge version being used, to mods being the problem. You can check for a launcher log and crash log using the instructions i provide for people on the tracker, but there may not be any crash logs depending on where the issue actually is.

Getting Crash Logs
* Run Technic Launcher
* Select modpack
* Click on the Cog icon located on the bottom left of the modpack logo
* Click on "Open Folder"
* Open "crash-reports" folder
* Provide relevant log files

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Getting Launcher Logs
* Run Technic Launcher
* Click on the Cog icon located on the top right of the launcher
* Click on the "Logs" button
* Provide relevant log files

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pasting Logs
Use one of the following methods to show us your log files:
* Attach file to posting
* Use http://pastebin.com and paste the resulting URL in your post
* Use http://paste.ubuntu.com and paste the resulting URL in your post

For overly sized files, attaching or using the above URLs may not work, you can use one of the following for these types of cases
* http://mediafire.com
* http://dropbox.com

The are no crash reports or Logs folder

and how do I make the modpack available for everyone because it's not on private?

Its marked private for everyone else because of google drive, it isnt private to you because you have permission to access it (if you didnt, itd be weird) - honestly no idea how to resolve this as i dont find google drive useful and prefer dropbox. copy.com seems to be working for people as well, though there is a pinned thread on other locations and options (and discussions on) to where one can upload a modpack.

As for your log, I said to use a pastebin site or another alternative posting it, spilling the log just isnt cool (notice how much it takes up in your post....and how annoying it is to scroll, imagine this for multiple logs and theres a reason why it isnt desired)

That first link offered by Bisoros isn't direct either. If it does anything but instantly download the file or ask to save the file when the page is visited, it isn't a direct link.

Log doesn't indicate anything wrong (outside of it failing to get some information, which may be security application related but doesnt indicate that the pack is failing) - we will need a direct link to the modpack download at this point, of which the previously given url is still marked private.
