In the interest of making things 'Smooth and Simple'tm, my machines actually look quite cluttered and confusing. You should try making the textures just a little bit varied (gradients or shading or otherwise), as opposed to bold colour, especially with pipes.

Right, been doing some experimenting. No screenshots yet. I have now four independant frames. One for each leg. Legs will move forward automatically without repeated inputs. Up and down is controlled by buttons in the middle. I shall tidy it up and do screens later.

Frames are seriously cool, but not versatile enough for proper legs yet. I have made a walking structure, It consisted of two leg sections with motors splitting it down the middle, allowing one leg to walk in front of the other. I may experiment with conquering slopes, however. But there's no feasible way of automating that. Nor is there a way of turning it around, yet.

I'm on a phone right now, and despite the fact I have AdBlock Plus, the front page was littered with credit card ads, and AVG just stopped some spyware and a Trojan. Don't know what they were, but one was a Russian IP. Also the forums are a mess on the phone anyway, and if it wasn't previously on your agenda, I would gladly offer my services to get a phone friendly version up. I need to laugh at Kellers, even if I'm at a funeral reception. :/

However Steve Downs is still doing Master Chief, and Halo 4 is shaping up to be a pretty damn good game. None of the 'same shit, different sequel' CoD fans will be aware of. Many PS3's will be binned/replaced/supplemented this year.

EE has some excellent items, that I couldn't imagine Technic without. On SSP, that's fine. You can play the game how you damn well want. I have zero problems with that. On SMP, however, I have two problems. 1) Resources are nullified. No more mining. No more chests. No more resource management. It's an inconvenient creative mode. Which leads to... 2) People playing the game in a silly order. So many people spam EE in the early stages of the game. Then they build machines. But why build cool machines when you have all the resources you could ever need? No need for complex cactus farms, sorting machines connected to dozens of quarries, intensive animal farms... Just bloody 'ZOMG-DIAMINDS' machines everywhere. Notice a trend. 6/6 Deluxe servers do not have EE condensors...

X3 doesn't deliver on the zombies, but MY GOD does it deliver on the pirates. Best space sim to date. But DAYM is it hard being a pirate.
