  3. For what it's worth I just took Watson 777's (Wiki changelog contributor) work and sent a pull request to the github, if accepted the site changelog will update to 0.6.0 (sorry but Watson hasn't done 0.6.1 yet)

  7. I think you misunderstand how Platform works The packs are not stored by the site, they are hosted by the uploader and then linked to the launcher via platform The actual storage used per pack is measured in Kb on their end

The mod packs aren't being policed by the team (at least as far as the content goes) this has been said before The only space this will make is on the Browse page and if you don't like them then don't download them, simple Don't forget that the launcher relies on Platform to handle the pack location

  10. Dev versions can be pushed out without the complete pack for various reasons, it's just another part of the process
  11. Disable ARS Last I heard the Tekkit team are siding with MFFS and there is a bug with the ARS forcefields
  12. Volts 1.1.0 was pulled because it's a developer build and it's unstable, this was BEFORE the tekkit team started directly maintaining it so they didn't get any more warning than you guys as the launcher and site have automated version checks to get the recommended and latest builds (AFAIK)

  15. Go in to the properties file and set the IP to your hamachi network address, it's freaking out over a non hamachi address (98.66.51.176) so setting a specific IP might help

  18. I would just patch IC2 with newer versions till that was fixed, still I suppose that option doesn't work for everyone but then, I don't see it as that much of a problem, until it comes to adjusting power storage and transformer blocks but I can live with it, to each their own

See previous 2 posts The dev build was pulled for instability, and when it was pulled the floodgates of rage were opened from everyone that just HAD to have the latest for X, Y and Z reasons Dev builds aren't really there for public use, they are pushed out so that server owners can do the testing that the devs can't do to every single build as well as say "Yes we are working on it, no I'm not off playing <insert popular game name here> instead"

  24. On the launcher there is a cog next to the close X You can change the allocated memory there

I can count 5 mods on that list that did not Pre-Initialize correctly and MFFS caused the crash Remove those mods, try again If success + 1 removed mod and attempt fix If fail check for errors, remove based on error log If no errors then remove a bunch of mods and see if problem fixed Repeat until Success with no removed mods
