  1. Originally I wanted to use only four (from two Rift Signatures, two rifts each), but I messed up and put the first two too far away from each other. So, not knowing any better, I put down the other two and decided to plonk two more. They spread like crazy, but I still managed to put Igneous Extruder/Piston contraption above it to feed it cobble. It did get me about 50 Threads before I decided to remove the PocketDim. The amount of Endermen was slowly causing lag in the overworld (the Dim was made with Golden Doors, so it was chunkloaded). I also tried to make it into an Ender Pearl farm when I realized how many Endermen it was spawning, but the Grinders got only 5x5x5 range and it proved pretty much impossible to get all the Endermen to fall into such a small area (the huge Fabric of Reality pillar in the middle is my attempt at doing so ;p). I still managed to get over 600 Pearls from that, though
  2. Do some DimDoors dungeon spelunking, find enough World Thread to craft 2-3 Rift Signatures. Crate couple rifts right next to each other and voila! An Enderman farm.
  3. Actually, I believe resonant ender beats cryotheum. I did some testing with 9x9x7 setup with 5 fuel rods and cooling it with resonant ender gives about 400RF/t more than the cryotheum. Not to mention the cryotheum is a pain in the arse to put inside since the source blocks actually fall down.
  4. So, I wanted to do some world thread farming. This is the result: Welp.
  5. What? So the mod is here, but it's most basic and important mechanics are disabled? O.o
  6. U only smelt ender pearls in the smeltery. Then you pour it down on obsidian block inside the casting basin and voila! End Stone.
  7. That's kinda the exact same thing phazeonphoenix said in his first reply... Only that he used wood as an example.
  8. Sure, I don't mind sharing ;p Here's what it looks outside. The pen on the further end was supposed to keep my wyvern (I have mo'creatures installed), but it disappeared somehow :/ The first floor. The second one is just bed, meteor shield and wraith node. Basement. The doors are as follows. From left to right - Thaumcraft room: Doors to different dimensions. The one made of soulsand leads to Wither battle room. Unfortunately I had some fabric of reality accidents and still haven't found enough to fill the holes >< Exp grinder / enchanter / Harken Scythe stuff. That huge cobbleston structure is where mobs spawn and drop down. When u turn around from where I took the basement screenshot, u go to a long corridor that leads to my "Vault". I keep all my excess armor and weapons here (except for scythes and glaives, those are in the grinder room. That's pretty much it.
  9. Im no expert on this, but doesn't this line "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 700 is already occupied by drzhark.mocreatures.block.MoCBlockLeaf@67e9c0b4 when adding com.vozgaming.dyeablebeds.BlockWhiteBed@236a9eb8" means that the conflicting mod is the Dyeable Beds?
  10. Did u download and install all the other requisites? You put the custommobspawner in /mods folder and the Gui API in /coremods. Works fine for me. Also, the Project Zulu mod might be conflicting with it, since it also adds bunch of animals. Try disabling it, maybe.
  11. Actually, it is. However it is no longer maintained or developed/improved by the original author. Current version is just a conversion to 1.5 by some "bystanders".
  12. Attack their feet, so that u won't look at them directly. That way they won't teleport at all.

    EE3

You still have to kill them, instead of just getting the pearls for, pretty much, free.
  14. Great way to get slimeballs is to find labirynth in the Twilight Forest. Full of Maze Slimes and Slime Beetles. Both drop vanilla slime balls. I got over 6 stacks of them after clearing both floors of the labirynth.

    EE3

EE3 would make things way too easy and Hexxit (imo) is supposed to be quite difficult. Especially the ender pearl recipe, which is kinda OP.
  16. It's already there, cofh core is required for Thermal Expansion. The thing that actually changes the world gen is the config file. U can just copy the one from Big Dig to Tekkit and it should work.
  17. Collecting blood repairs the biomass gear. I can confirm that, I got biomass glaive I use to farm blood off zombies and it's pretty much at full durability all the time. And yeah, in both cases, it repairs itself only when blood/soul is collected using the essence keeper.
  18. Aether II works only on 1.5.1 if Im correct. At least that's what the forum page says and I had no luck installing it in Hexxit.
  19. There isn't really a complete pack, but BDCraft got pretty much all mods textured. The most important, missing ones, would be Hexxit Gear and Falling Meteors, but I'm playing just fine w/o them. Also, Dokucraft got quite a lot textured (but u have to dig through the whole mc forum thread to find them all), and since it's "only" 32x, the missing textures aren't that noticable.
  20. It's also used to craft livingmetal ingots from iron ingots. Livingmetal tools and armor repair themselves a tiny bit whenever u catch a soul.
  21. Any type of Tinker's Construct axe can bring down an entire Redwood, as it doesn't get destroyed after loosing durability. Fortunately, in official Hexxit/Big Dig releases, TreeCapitator is disabled for Redwood. And I don't recommend enabling it ;p
  22. U can't expect the author of Enchanting+ to know and add description to every single enchantment that comes from different mods The following all come from Harken Scythe: Exude - chance to remove negative effects from you. Vitality - chance that recieving dmg will take away your hunger instead of life. Bloodletting - gives weapons other than glaive the ability to make mobs bleed. Soulsteel - allows reaping of souls for weapons other than scythe. Decapitate - self explanatory, rly but Harken Scythe adds much more heads to the game that are otherwise inaccesible (I think). I dont know if it works on wither skeletons. Afterlife - explained by Mansworth
  23. Yeah, but it's a normal thing for skeletons to be riding spiders, but slimes?
