  1. My experience, on a few server instances running current builds of MCPC+, is that DD seems to be doing something wonky to chunks that makes them not load properly. Even chunks that don't have rifts or rift portals in them. And not 1 or 2 either. multiple in a row, and frequent enough to be a hassle.
  2. Prime: mostly bug fixes. We have also updated to the latest MCPC+ so some things like grass growth will hopefully be working a little better.
  3. Experiencing a bit of server trouble. It will be back up as soon as possible. Edit: Back up and running!
  4. The conversion rate from EU to MJ is 2.5:1 in non-lossy systems. Quarries will never blow up, but will not get any speed boost past a smidge over 48 MJ/t which yields about 5 blocks/second harvest rate.
  5. Use Power Converters. Put a Thermal Expansion Redstone Energy Cell after the BC producer and you can easily turn the power on/off. Run the power through a Tesseract and you can deliver that power anywhere. (although you might want to change the energy loss for Tesseracts down to at most 10% since 25% loss is farking ridiculous)
  6. If you would like a FPS boost in many situations, you might benefit from Optifine. You need the version for 1.4.6: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/249637-151-optifine-hd-c4-fps-boost-hd-textures-aa-af-and-much-more/ Look under the "Older Versions" spoiler and find "Download OptiFine 1.4.6_HD_U_D5"
  7. Currently updating to 0.6.2 and experiencing a minor ID conflict/missing-ID. Back up shortly. Back to 0.6.1 while we sort out the problem.
  8. Applied Energistics implements something called ME Networks. This provides: Functionally infinite storage Automated crafting that is both super fast and trivially easy once set up Export/Import/Storage integration with other blocks/machines that do things or have inventories Wireless access to all the above
  9. Note: you have a loop in your conductive pipe. Loops in BC pipes = bad.
  10. So, we are going to allow some players who have the shown some great building and playing skills, and who wish to do so, to build a shop for themselves at spawn. If you are interested just contact a mod(+). Enjoy!
  11. you can just save and close, then remove the nether folder from your save
  12. Remember that the bridge will report what is being brought in based on what is being sent out. If you are only using 56.4 MJ/t then the bridge only needs 141 EU/t to keep its buffer full so that's all it will ask for. The power converters are very intelligent in their power usage/distribution. If you combine them with Thermal Expansion cells, conduits and tesseracts the bridge will stop pulling power altogether when the MJ side doesn't have machines actively consuming power.
  13. Other items of note: You do not need to go into that second wooden pipe or the golden one. Just go Wooden -> Phased You do not need to bring each of those arrays in on a separate line. Just "flower" them up together and bring them in on one cable run Suggestion: Ditch the pipes all together and use an Redstone Energy Cell and Energy Tesseracts. Unlike pipes, they don't blow up or draw power when not being used
  14. Careful what you click on them with. Safest to use an empty hand.
  15. Compare the versions of the mods you have with the versions listed on the Tekkit Lite Wiki Changelog
  16. The very first result when one searches Google for "pastebin". It is a service that allows you to paste quantities of text and provides a short URL link to allow you to to post in a forum like this without polluting the thread and to maintain the formatting of the text.
  17. Anyone who wishes to help is going to need a lot more info. Some of these may help: 1) Pastebin your server.log file. Shut the server down, delete the log, restart, then pastebin it up. 2) Pastebin the contents of your server root folder, and the contents of the "config" and "mods" subfolders. 3) Describe/quote up what command you are starting the server with. If just a batch/script file, paste up the contents (here is fine since it should be short). 4) What versions of things like OS, Java, etc. are you using. Give people the tools to help you and those who are inclined will do so.
  18. Wow. Necropost. Def3ct1ve: If this is happening for you in 0.6.1 then you are having a different problem. And yes, if your mob textures are not showing parts of the model then you likely have a very out of date texture pack.
  19. If MC of any flavor is causing your system to hard-reboot you have bigger/unrelated problems than MC. You might want to do some hardware diagnostics.
  20. The challenge is that BC pipes will draw power if any is available regardless of whether there is a load attached. You want to switch to Redstone Conduits and your exploding pipe problems will be solved. (also, one does not need that second wooden pipe in any event. Just the one wooden to extract from the source)
  21. When it comes to nuclear reactors my motto is "cheap, safe, efficient, renewable power for the masses". In that vein, here are the two builds I use. One for power generation, and another for breeding. Power Generation: http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/v3/reactorplanner.html?21p3ti0xdirko6vdvx9fcgo3gud8hy2301u04xjizkf7n2tysb0hi3toq796klia30emh5avt7y27eo Beefier Power: http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/v3/reactorplanner.html?21p7efq5pfule0nu29supojfxd8k9lf3do237rnw0mpwoezd1nxksl6ucaceovy6uixc92gxt2grpxc Breeder Reactor: http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/v3/reactorplanner.html?pvok2ihq64fszf6xj1unb88ppms7yqskdnflwliqb61fkj8llvz3rm4qk746u17l3l2ngr7fp8rrjjqtk And for the adventurous, here is a recent IC2 reactor build post: http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=8966
  22. Ahh. Yeah, if you are going from 0.9.1.02 to 0.10.1.0 you are very likely going to have descriptive book problems. (or age generation problems)
  23. Mw2Chazz: Had to give you an hour ban for that chat spam. You can log back in at 12:20PM EST April 3, 2013
